Adam Coglianese/Coglianese Photos First post for Gulfstream racing is scheduled for 12:50 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

12:50 GP 1st SPEED CONTROL (#7, 4-1) catches a race light on pace and draws outside which should make for the best of trips. This gelding likes this dirt and distance so you can check those boxes. We spy a recent work as of this writing all for team David who are 17% with horses that won their last race. -Scott Ehlers

1:54 GP 3rd SPLIT STRIKE (#7, 7-2) is a new route horse that has good speed. The main problem is that there is good pace in this race. What if this 4YO is the speed of the speed though? This barn is 26% on the synth, 17% with repeating winners, 22% in routes, and 25% with their claimers. Jock switch to Paco is fine with us and said rider is in the zone right now. -Scott Ehlers

3:53 TUP 3rd REGARDING HARRY (#4, 5-1) ran evenly in his debut and now adds an extra half furlong. All three siblings beat winners and earned 134K, 109K, and 70K. This gelding draws fine but we have the worst luck when it comes to picking this barn or even against it. -Scott Ehlers |

4:00 GP 7th DE REGRESO (#6, 5-1) gets some class relief and returns to the synth where she has never missed the board at 5-2-1-2. When last seen on said surface, this February bred won nicely at the big chalk. That wasn't the best of posts in her most recent but those turf tries two and three back were fine and in full fields. Trainer stats are solid across the board including 21% going turf to synth. -Scott Ehlers

5:49 TUP 7th STORMIN HONGKONG (#3, 12-1) exits a key race where 5 of 6 returned to either win or place. The win Beyer speed figures are 67 and 58 while the place figures are 53, 53, and 49. This gelding likes this distance at 8-1-2-1. Win rider keeps the faith all for a barn that is 21% with horses that won their last race. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:19 TUP 8th SPICY RIDE (#6, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Turf Paradise).
