Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:50 SAR 1st DRUNK ON SAKE (#5, 8-1) flashed only brief speed when sprinting in the mud on debut, before dropping back quickly while appearing green; shows an improved work out of that debut experience, and his pedigree is slanted toward turf and distance; drops with Lasix and blinkers going on. -Mike Beer  1:55 SAR 3rd TOSCANO (#4, 8-1) was kept in hand taking a three-wide tracking trip in the debut, and he was game in the stretch to deny an odds-on favorite despite taking several bumps from that rival through the final furlong; has some pedigree behind him shipping in to face fellow NY-breds for a dangerous trainer. -Mike Beer  3:01 SAR 5th HARMONYVILLE (#7, 30-1) doesn't have a ton of pedigree to lean on, though sire Redesdale has proven capable of getting a turf performer from limited starters; Giddings was an assistant to excellent first-out trainer Jeremiah Englehart before going out of her own and a couple of the April breezes from this filly match stablemate Your Man Alex, who was a debut winner sprinting on turf a couple of weeks ago with a 74 Beyer. -Mike Beer  3:05 GP 5th WORLDLY BEAUTY (#2, 4-1) is feeling good and loves this synth. She pushed the pace last out and ran well but we think she is actually better with a target. She gets off the rail something she has had in three of her last four starts. -Scott Ehlers  3:33 GP 6th DOC AMSTER (#5, 7-2) just ran a little better and could be circling around to an even better try today. We know that he likes an elongated sprint. There isn't much pace in this race and we think this guy will be forwardly placed and that is when he runs his best. -Scott Ehlers  3:35 SAR 6th MONTEGO BAY (#3, 12-1) managed only one start as a 2yo last September, where she was not aggressively ridden despite showing some speed and wound up dropping back greenly once she got behind other horses; $400k yearling breezed with stablemate Just FYI last summer and held her own; returns in a stong-looking MSW but has a chance to improve quickly at a price. -Mike Beer  4:03 GP 7th DETROIT CITY (#2, 8-1) went from restricted claimers to facing a very good Xy Speed so it was no surprise when this guy was sent off at 45-1. It didn't help that he was denied a clean trip all on a surface that isn't his best. He now returns to his best surface and one where he got an 85 Beyer only two back. His recent work was only 19th best of 37 but we think that is good. Perhaps connections have this guy just where they want him and didn't need another fast work like that bullet drill on the 13th. A better price than many, right? -Scott Ehlers  6:46 WO 5th HATMAKER GIZMO (#2, 6-1) has worked well in preparation for his first run since a dull performance in the Nov. 25 Coronation Futurity. The son of Amis Gizmo was previously victorious in a two-turn maiden special and could prevail in this seven-furlong NW2 under regular rider Civaci. -Ron Gierkink  8:13 WO 8th STORMY OCEAN (#3, 6-1) rallied for second after missing the break when plunging to $10K in her much-improved second start, which followed a winter layoff. With more forward progress, she could topple these $15K maidens while ending Campos' drought for this barn. -Ron Gierkink
