DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Thursday, February 11, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
2:37 GP 4th REMARKABLE SILVER (#7, 8-1) had excuses in her last two double-digit losses. A repeat of her third-place finish three back at "Calderstream" might be good enough to get the job done here under Lebron, who's been a go-to rider for Orseno. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race
3:02 OP 3rd MELTING SNOW (#4, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mary Rampellini). | Get PPs for this race
3:33 OP 4th COLD AS HELL (#3, 10-1) goes for a hot barn as Lukas has been on a roll at Oaklawn. This one has a racing experience edge on some of these and owns the field's best last-race Beyer Speed Figure. (Note, too, that he's entered in a Saturday maiden race at Oaklawn.) -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race
4:12 GP 7th CHEERLEADER BARB (#4, 6-1) came from fifth to beat $25K maidens under Paco about six weeks ago. She's improved with each subsequent outing, and has lots of speed to chase in this optional starter, in her first try with Lasix. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race
4:44 GP 8th PALADIO (#2, 5-1) got back on track last out when descending to $35K, recording his fourth win from 10 starts. Reyes, who was aboard for all of his best races, should have him in contention for the lion's share of the purse in this $50K optional starter. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race
5:09 OP 7th NAUTICAL GEM (#8, 9-2) makes a familiar move here. She goes from racing over five-eighths of a mile to six panels and the last time she did so she was a winner. She also has class appeal as one who has seen steeper. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race
5:40 OP 8th O SERAPHINA (#7, 9-2) was a sharp winner at a similar distance last out at Fair Grounds and she now returns to Oaklawn, where she also is a winner and where she is stakes-placed. Sharp said she has an affinity for the local surface, among her recent works a bullet five-eighths in 1:00. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race
5:48 GP 10th BREAKING ALONE (#10, 3-1) landed on the edges in a slow-paced Tapeta route at Woodbine the only time he saw action Nov. 1. The full-brother to turf stakes winner Muskoka Gold is going on Lasix while making his first start for a hot trainer, who has a 15% strike rate with new shooters. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race
