DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Thursday, December 15, 2022

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
1:18 AQU 2nd BANKERS DAUGHTER (#5, 5-1) required a drop in class in order to get the first win of the year last time at Finger Lakes; sat a good trip in that race before coming through on the rail to take over while making her third straight start over a wet, sealed track; was in good form vs. some much better horses on this circuit earlier in the year. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:46 AQU 3rd SIR JOHN (#2, 4-1) made his dirt debut a winning one when dropped in class two back and did so while outfinishing fellow class-dropper Bert Bert Bert, who would return to win his next start with a 78 Beyer; in a better spot here after facing a much tougher group of restricted claimers last time. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:37 GP 6th BULLOCK (#3, 12-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marty McGee). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:27 TUP 4th TIZ WONDERFULLY (#2, 5-1) is simply feeling great. This mare likes to win in general and finds a logical spot for new barn that is 0 for 6 off the claim. This mare has speed but we bet she takes back today as we think others are quicker. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:57 TUP 5th SPEEDY GIGI (#8, 5-1) has never lost on this dirt in three starts. She loves shortened sprints like this. This barn is 19% with horses that won their last race. This mare draws outside main pace foes so a good trip is more likely than not. We like the class jump and maybe it helps the price just a tad. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:08 AQU 8th SMOKE AND HEAT's (#3, 8-1) lone dirt start came in his career debut, where he encountered trouble at the start before putting in a good finish for second; interesting getting back to the main track for the first time since, as he hasn't really improved much on turf in his last four starts. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
9:03 RP 3rd RYAN EXPRESS (#8, 6-1) was buried on the rail in his debut and then broke 9th which surprised no one. He rallied valiantly to finish fourth all while beating over half the field home. Now he draws more outside which should make for a more relaxed trip. A relaxed horse is a faster horse. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
10:55 RP 7th SULPHUR SUE (#11, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
11:51 RP 9th GURKHA GOLD (#8, 9-2) has route speed on the cut back to an elongated sprint and draws the attack post. The blinkers come OFF but that might be a good thing as this barn is 26% when doing so. As expected this late in the meet, this field didn't come up very tough. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
