Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:05 SAR 1st VIOLENT POINT (#5, 4-1) has mostly concentrated on turf throughout her career but she just looks like a better horse on this surface, where her tactical speed plays; returns on the drop with blinkers on. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:07 WO 3rd JUSTLEAVEITALONE (#4, 5-1) was stuck in traffic twice before ending up fourth when dropping to the NW2 OS/$40K level second-time off the sidelines. She’s going from seven-eighths to 1 1/16 miles in this NW3, and should be prominent with Gallardo taking over. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:36 WO 4th MARAIS (#4, 6-1) posted one of her better performances the only time she sprinted on the Tapeta four starts back on opening day, a narrow loss with a 53 Beyer. She’s getting some class relief here off a fourth-place finish where she raced at least fourwide throughout on the main turf. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:14 WO 7th GRATEFUL PRAISE (#2, 8-1) is exiting back-to-back seconds, when protected by waiver claiming at the $10K level and in an optional starter on the main turf. She should be a good fit in this $20K event, especially if she continues to improve her Beyer power. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:00 DMR 1st DEVIL’S MESSENGER (#8, 4-1) showed just enough in her third-place career debut at Indiana Grand to suggest she can win this maiden-62.5k second time out. ‘MESSENGER did was not quick from the gate breaking from post 2 at IND, she lost position early, and raced greenly in the lane. Decent try under the circumstances, and the race was validated when the winner and fourth-place finisher returned to win. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:05 SAR 8th BATTLE BLING (#6, 9-2) was switched back to turf off the Gargan claim last time and might have run better than it looks while keeping after a solid pace and then dueling in the stretch in a race that ultimately went to closers; drops for her second start off the claim and might play out as the main speed this time. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:13 SAR 10th POP THE BUBBLY (#5, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:30 DMR 4th First-time starter THIRTY FOUR COUPE (#4, 4-1) can come out firing for trainer George Papaprodomou and owner Aidan Butler of The Stronach Group. ‘COUPE debuts with sharp works over the track; the $31k juvenile purchase is realistically spotted for a top effort in this maiden-50 for 2yos. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:42 CBY 2nd VIVO (#1, 9-2) has improved his Beyer in five straight. Turf breeding is only OK so we actually like the return to the dirt. This guy saves all the early ground while race flow is more than fair. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:00 DMR 5th BESTRELLA (#7, 4-1) has run well against better than she faces in this $32k N2L claiming turf route. Her U.S. debut in February was a respectable eighth against a salty allowance field; she ran well finishing third in her May comeback; she stumbled and was no factor her most recent N1X start two months ago. Now she drops in for a tag, with speed figures among the highest in the field. If she starts favored, this nugget from Formulator lends support: the last five times trainer Paddy Gallagher and jockey Mike Smith teamed with a favorite, four won and the other finished second. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:12 CBY 3rd FASHION ROSE (#1, 8-1) has speed and draws the rail going five panels on the green. There just isn’t any pace in this race. If this mare can break alertly and get any kind of a breather than she is the one to beat even if 8-1 on the morning line. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:12 CBY 7th CSILLA (#5, 6-1) can sit a nice trip especially if the two speeds push each other (1 and 4). That last time this filly tried this distance on this dirt she ran 2nd at 20-1. Those seven furlong tries at Tampa 5 and 6 back were solid so this filly might be best in an elongated sprint. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:42 CBY 8th BOBBY BOOTS (#7, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
