2:49 SAR 4th COTTON (#6, 12-1) is one of several back in this field from a similar race on the opening Friday of the meet, which was run at a solid pace and wound up going to closers. 6:22 WO 4th SUPER HEADLINE (#4, 6-1) shook loose on the lead before fading to third when dropping to this level following an extended layoff in his second outing on the Tapeta July 22.
