3:13 GP 5th BIMINI (#4, 5-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch).
3:35 OP 4th CHEROKEE MAIDEN (#1, 3-1) has run second in her three appearances at the meet and in two of those races hooked next-out allowance winners Fire Coral, who is to run Friday in the Fantasy at Oaklawn, and Lucky Betty. On a pedigree point, Cherokee Maiden is out of the multiple Grade 1-winning mare Folklore. -Mary Rampellini
4:36 OP 6th GORDY FLORIDA (#6, 5-1) cuts back to one turn after showing speed around two and note the start came against steeper. As for the distance move, his last two wins on form have come at this six furlong trip. -Mary Rampellini

4:48 GP 8th TAPI FROST (#6, 15-1) did the dirty work chasing wire to wire winner before fading late in latest and from barn that has really heated up of late. Might not look back if getting loose himself this time around. -Mike Welsch
5:06 OP 7th SACRED OATH (#8, 4-1) cuts back to the distance of his maiden win. -Mary Rampellini

5:38 OP 8th VAULT (#1, 7-2) got really good last fall and the horse she cruised past in her LRL stakes win, Jehozacat, came back with consecutive stakes wins, including a G3. Cox barn dynamite with layoff horses and this filly could get the dream trip of all time stalking from the inside in a race just packed with pace. – Marcus Hersh
5:49 GP 10th I'LL TAKE THE CAKE (#1, 7-2) ran well to defeat good starter group off the claim and with plenty of time to recuperate from effort. Continues to show her stuff in a.m., figures to sit nice stalking trip off likely pace of Cuddle Kittten. -Mike Welsch
6:09 OP 9th UNION RIDE (#4, 4-1) was third last out to one of the meet's winningest horses in Town Champ. The race also was a quick one and it was the first start since December for Union Ride. -Mary Rampellini

6:19 GP 11th PREACHER MARSEE (#6, 7-2) did not get the best of trips in his latest when trapped between horses early, shuffled back on second turnb when disappointing as tepid favorite for same tag. Could return quick dividends off claim with cleaner run. -Mike Welsch
