Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:42 GP 2nd CASHIER CHECK (#1, 4-1) got an 86 Beyer speed figure the last time that he tried this sod. He finished 2nd at almost 7-1 all while facing better than these. Connections thought enough of this guy to try stakes foes only two back. Not sure what happened last out but this roan returns right on time and puts three races together. Tactical speed and the rail go hand in hand. Lopez gets a leg up and the last time he rode this horse they finished 3rd beaten less than 2 lengths at 12-1 (89 Beyer on the turf). -Scott Ehlers  1:51 AQU 2nd AMUNDSON's (#6, 6-1) form has been a little spotty recently but he ran a good one at this level two back when only run down late by Market alert; tried rating off the claim last time to no avail; back-classer has plenty of speed and might be in a spot to use it as he breaks from the outside. -Mike Beer  3:08 KEE 5th WELAKA (#2, 10-1) never had been in for a tag until she returned from a long layoff March 22 at Tampa. There, she broke poorly from the rail and fell too far out of contention in a sprint race. Am not sure she truly is a route horse, but second start back and down to lowest level, I'll give her a chance at the expected price. -Marcus Hersh  3:18 GP 5th BLUE SKY'S SYL (#6, 9-2) ran evenly in his debut and should improve second time racing. Class drop makes perfect sense and we like that this horse has a recent work. This race holds no world beaters so give us a horse with upside every day of the week and twice on Sunday. This barn is 20% with maidens making their 2nd start. -Scott Ehlers  3:28 AQU 5th BINGOOD TO KNOWYA (#8, 6-1) debuted in a tough MSW at the end of his 2yo year, then bumped into a blowout winner in his next dirt start; missed a lot of time before returning in February and he appeared to need that start while chasing for a long way before getting tired; may have improved more than it appears last time when chasing again in a race that was dominated up front by the two favorites; one more chance at a price. -Mike Beer  3:40 KEE 6th PLEASANT PASSAGE (#4, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh). 4:02 AQU 6th STATUS SEEKER (#3, 5-1) did not earn much of a figure for winning first out last summer but she was ready for that debut and was professional sitting a pace-tracking trip before gunning down the leaders under strong handling; has a long layoff to overcome but has been breezing right along and threw in a strong half-mile last month; Lasix on. -Mike Beer  4:12 KEE 7th C F V BULLET (#6, 15-1) never has been in for a claiming tag until now, and I don't see much wrong with his form. Was only off a couple months before returning at Turfway in a sprint, and he's no sprinter. His baseline performance from last fall makes him the most likely winner of Cooke Creek can't come close to his best. Might not be 15-1 but ought to be a fair price. -Marcus Hersh 4:20 GP 7th ZIO LORENZO (#6, 4-1) gets great race flow as there is a lot of pace in this race. He draws fine and is proven on this synth. He looks better if you toss that route try only three back. Others have better figs but this guy has the best upside and trip. -Scott Ehlers 4:32 AQU 7th ANILEATE (#2, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).  5:16 KEE 9th ROCK STAR DOCTOR (#9, 15-1) cruised to a $30K maiden-claiming win over the KEE surface last fall, which means she's a solid fit for $20K N2L claiming on that kind of form. Claimed out of the win and back vs. tougher on fairly short rest at CD - she can likely do better than that if primed, and the TP work pattern looks encouraging enough. Can't see 15-1 with this form and Gaffalione for Maker. -Marcus Hersh  6:05 TUP 5th DANCING PORKY (#9, 8-1) is by a new sire (all sire stats are for 2YO's only). His dam went 14-2-1-4 for 90K. Lone sib is 9-1-0-0 for 24K. Works are solid and we like that this guy is a February bred. JUST CALL ME LUCKY is by a 8% debut sire. Her dam went 3-1-1-0 for 16K and this is her first foal. This filly is a January bred so she has an age advantage over many of these and we like the outside post for a debut. -Scott Ehlers  8:25 TUP 10th LORRAINE'S LEGACY (#5, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers).
