Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:35 SAR 1st LOVE TO RUN (#3, 6-1) made her debut going long on turf and was almost immediately hooked into a duel after breaking alertly from the gate; wound up tiring late in a race that went to closers that day, now cuts back and switches to dirt to face several first time starters over a tough distance. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:53 KD 2nd GAMBLE'S ORB (#2, 20-1) caught two wet dirt tracks to start career, and guess there could be concern the stretch from five to six furlongs accounted for the second-out regression. Offspring of Orb tend to do better on turf than dirt, however, and he has a chance to shake loose on the lead here, depending on the first-timers' speed. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:59 GP 3rd RED WIND (#3, 5-1) got bumped around leaving the gate and then was hung out wide on the first turn in her first try with winners, which came at this level. She tried to make a late move, but the race was dominated by speed and she wasn't able to make a big impact. It was not a bad effort, though, and she moves inside where she could get a better trip with Zayas aboard. He rode her to an impressive win in a $16K maiden claimer in her previous race. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:07 WO 3rd RED MAPLE (#1, 6-1) broke awkwardly from the one-hole before rushing up to stalk the pace and then faded to sixth in his debut. The homebred has since worked a bullet five-eighths and has drawn the rail again in another OS/$40K sprint. He should be better for the experience with leading rider Kimura picking up the mount. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:16 SAR 4th OFF WE GO (#4, 8-1) didn't appear to have a real excuse last time while down inside and not coming through in the stretch when she had room, though she was off the layoff there and the winner of that race has been on a strong run while winning 6 of her last 7 dirt starts; showed some potential early on and getting off the rail might benefit her as she makes her second start back. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:32 MTH 6th RAZZLEDAZZLEM (#11, 8-1) gets back on the grass after she finished far up the track in a race rained off the turf last time, and this certainly seems to be her preferred surface; she has speed but can also rate, and if she can work out a trip and run to her best Beyers she could pull off a minor upset. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:34 GP 4th ALLURAMORE (#3, 7-2) showed some potential in a couple of Florida Sires Stakes as a baby and runs in a maiden race for the first time. Her work Aug. 14 suggests she could be sitting on a big effort in her initial start as a 3-year-old and both sibs are 4-time winners so the pedigree is there. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:36 WO 4th BURNING MAN (#9, 8-1) was a visually impressive come-from-behind winner over $25K NW3 stock when plunging from second-level allowance company a month ago. He could double up off the KA claim in this $40K seller with Gallardo back in the saddle. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:22 SAR 6th PUBLIC INFORMATION's (#12, 10-1) competitive form came for the leading trainer but that form was probably even better than it looks, as he dominated maidens at Belmont following his unlucky run in Florida back in February, and he was much-the-best again two back despite being disqualified for interference; caught outside again as he goes off the trainer change and drops back down. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:35 KD 5th Actually liked MR. HUSTLE (#11, 12-1) to win the Aug. 7 Ellis Stakes despite the long layoff, but he just wasn't ready for that taxing pace. This distance suits him better and WO, where he did such strong pre-layoff work, is a little more like KD than many N American turf courses. Drops to $62,500 claiming but given his history that need not be seen as especially negative, and Lasix is once again part of the package. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:16 WO 7th RUM CUP (#4, 10-1) missed the break before checking in sixth in his six-furlong opener. The half-brother to stakes-winning router Ultimate Destiny is adding Lasix for the stretchout to a mile and 70 yards, and could make some noise at a square price. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:33 MTH 10th WHY NOT TONIGHT (#4, 2-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:02 MTH 11th FUN PADDY (#4, 4-1) sprinted in her return from the long break, a race that was likely a prep for this route, as this does seem to be her best game; she has a decent late kick and figures to be running late under Ferrin Peterson. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:00 WO 10th ROYAL CITY REIGN (#7, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:46 SAR 12th HIGH LIMIT ROOM (#11, 10-1) ran pretty well vs. a good field in his turf debut late last year over yielding turf; returned from the break over firm ground and took a nice step forward when showing speed and never giving that field a chance. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:58 KD 11th NOTA BENE (#4, 12-1) appeared to want little part of two turns in his race three starts back, and in his solid closing runs in the three 5.5-furlong sprints, he just ran out of real estate. Guess he'll be able to sustain that finish and will enjoy this longer sprint. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:37 DMR 7th ULTIMATE HY (#2, 6-1) is due for luck. She misfired two back on dirt, then was compromised by the outside post (10 of 10) last out when she returned to turf. Now she drew a cozy inside post, her Cal-bred N1X turf mile win three starts back is fast enough to handle this open N1X turf mile. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:07 DMR 10th The authoritative maiden win by DANCE TO THE MUSIC (#4, 3-1) was faster and more visually impressive than the speed figure; she can win the G1 Del Mar Debutante second time out. 'MUSIC was well-regarded all spring, and ran to expectations wiring the field by nearly five. She trained well since, drew outside a pair of stakes one-two finishers, and can fire right back with an up-front trip. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
