Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

12:50 MTH 1st BIRRAVINO BLVD (#3, 12-1) goes on the turf for the first time for connections that excel with turf sprinters; dam produced a two-time turf winner in Town of Gold. – Kenny Peck

1:25 GP 2nd SIR ASCOT (#4, 12-1) tried two turns on the turf in his debut and that is tough. He only beat one home but earned valuable race experience. All 3 sibs won including a multiple winner of 94K. The two sibs that tried routing both won. Class drop hints at the money run. – Scott Ehlers

1:35 BAQ 2nd WILD MAMA (#8, 8-1) is a newcomer from the female family of Derby winner Always Dreaming, as well as graded stakes winners Hot Dixie Chick and Positive Spirit; drew well on the outside and appears to be training forwardly up to the debut. – Mike Beer

3:06 BAQ 5th RUSSALITE (#2, 15-1) had an outside post for the MSW debut, where she appeared to be prepping while rating the break and then never making a serious run; half-sister to capable turf sprinter Linarite drops right away and adds blinkers looking to put that experience to use. – Mike Beer

3:20 MTH 6th MAGNIFICENT RIDE (#7, 6-1) has the speed to at least stay close in the opening stages, and given the likely pace scenario he could be in a very good spot from the start, just off expected frontrunner HUSHION; that figure he posted in the win two back is good enough to win this, if he can run back to it. – Kenny Peck

3:58 GP 7th JILLAROO (#11, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers).

4:20 MTH 8th CARTUCHO (#6, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck).

5:02 GP 9th MISTER ABARRIO (#9-2) loves this sod where he has won his last two starts. Once again connections find a spot where this gelding can't be claimed. Race flow is more than fair as there is some pace in this race. This post is a bit out there but it is still tough to look past this Joseph runner. – Scott Ehlers

5:13 BAQ 9th WEIGHTED AVERAGE (#1, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).
