2:36 KEE 4th Looks like a crapshoot of a MSW dirt sprint - a place to take shots. TRIPLE UP (#9, 30-1) is 30-1 on the line, which might be high, but he'll definitely be a price as just the third horse trainer T Molloy has debuted in an maiden special weight. This is an Arkansas-bred in name only: Sire Upstart sports a strong 16% strike rate with 2yo first-time starters, and five of the six foals to race from this dam have ranged from good to very good. No workout video, but that's a set of fast drills. – Marcus Hersh
2:56 GP 5th MR SCATTER (#6, 6-1) a new face to the category making local bow and a late striding type who'll need some early help, but good enough to run down Bricklayer two back at CD, the latter embarking on three race win streak off that effort including recent victory in the Manitoba Derby. 3:16 BAQ 6th CORRETO was impressive winning on debut while showing handy speed from the start, before finishing up strongly to overpower a well-meant rival; full-sister to millionaire turfer Spooky Channel is bred to go on, and Motion has been shopping spots for her recently without much luck; drew a tough post vs this kind of field but she appears to have a chance to be pretty good. – Mike Beer
3:29 WO 5th GLINTINDADDYSEYE (#4, 6-1) raced wide throughout while closing for second when switching from giving turf to the Tapeta in his much-improved second race. The son of Frac Daddy might like stretching out from 5 1/2 to seven furlongs with Moran back riding for Buttigieg, a successful combo. – Ron Gierkink
6:00 SA 5thRunner-up in a $25k claiming route at LRC last out, NAUVOO (#7, 5-1) is a tepid choice in a relatively deep route at the same level that looks tougher than NAUVOO faced last time. But he finished six lengths clear of third while earning a solid 81 Beyer, and has speed to establish position from his outside post. He ran fast over the SA track early this year (98, 94). – Brad Free
