Gets some class relief while exiting improved showing last time, finishing in front of more than half the field despite finishing well outside. Among the best bred for the going in this lot being a full to Pert, who has won 3 times and finished second or better in 7 of 9 career tries on grass. -Mike Welsch
12:40 LRL 1st CLASSY SOLUTION (#7, 15-1) hasn’t raced on turf recently, but his most recent effort on the surface exceeded the Beyer par for this class level when a rallying sixth against much-tougher competition. Both the winner and runner-up from that race have combined to win 21 races and Classy Solution now faces strict “non-winners of two” competition here. Has the tactical speed to work out a good trip while close to the pace. -Dan Illman

2:32 LRL 5th INFINITE REWARD (#7, 6-1) breezed a furlong in 11 flat prior to the most recent auction and is by a solid juvenile debut sire (Warrior’s Reward connects at a 13% rate). Winning dam has foaled four winners from as many runners and she is a half-sister to multiple stakes-winner Coastline. The second dam won her first two starts at two including the Grade 3 Arlington-Washington Lassie over the old Arlington dirt course. -Dan Illman

3:56 LRL 8th All of LE PETITE PAPILLON’s (#1, 6-1) dirt races are good and thought she was very game to win her most recent start at Delaware. Hung out four wide on the backstretch, she continued to give ground through the turn and still battled it out nicely in the stretch. 3:58 GPW 8th QUEEN FIELD (#4, 15-1) as good as any in this spot. Gets some weight relief with bug boy taking call and exiting perhaps her best two to date. May offer some value in a tough one. -Mike Welsh
4:37 WO 7th COMBATIVE (#2, 7-2) put up Beyers in the low 80s while competitive in his last two Tapeta outings in the summer, and the Beyer par for this level is 76. Wilson gets a rare ride for McKnight on the 4yo. -Ron Gierkink
