Since 1894, Daily Racing Form has been the most trusted source of horse racing news and information, making horseplayers better bettors by cashing more tickets. Here is a free daily playbook – something hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. DRF Past Performances (PPs) can be accessed at DRF.com.  DRF handicappers share their plays for the day, including best bets, for racing at Aqueduct, Gulfstream, Del Mar, and Woodbine. Post Time: 12:20 ET Track: Gulftream (1st Race) Post Time: Laser (#5, 5-2) Laser broke evenly and ran the same in his debut all while getting some lukewarm support. One of two sibs is a multiple winner of 104K. We like the surface switch to dirt more than anything but the added distance is a close second. – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 1:40 ET Track: Aqueduct (4th Race) Post Time: SAIL WITH THE WIND (#3, 7-2) SAIL WITH THE WIND is a DRF Best Bet. (Mike Beer) | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 2:03 ET Track: Woodbine (3rd Race) Post Time: Catch the Drift (#6, 7-2)  Catch the Drift benefited from an inside bias on the turn before closing for second in her improved last race at this $25K non-three class. Forde retains the mount and the capable bug won Thursday's opener on the favorite. – Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 3:30 ET Track: Aqueduct (8th Race) Post Time: Doomed (#2, 5-2)  Doomed made his dirt debut at this level, where he gamely got second behind front-running Brave Bear, who earned an 80 Beyer for that effort, then moved up in class to win again with the same figure; right back at the same level off the claim. – Mike Beer | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:00 ET Track: Del Mar (2nd Race) Post Time: Shared Future (#2, 8-5)  Shared Future won this N1X condition last out; she runs back at the same level while entered for the optional $50k claim tag. Her win was at Santa Anita; she ran well both starts this summer at Del Mar. Although her closing style could be a challenge due to the shortage of pace, the veteran mare gets the call to wear them down. – Brad Free | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:16 ET Track: Gulfstream (9th Race) Post Time: Smile Po (#9, 15-1) Smile Po exits a key race where 3 of 3 returned to win with figs of 82, 71, and 64. This filly gets back to two turns and we think that is for the best. She won't be that far off an average pace while full field helps all exotics. This race actually came up good for the level. – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:11 ET Track: Woodbine (9th Race) Post Time: Babbo (#8, 3-1)  Babbo ran in second throughout behind the speedy favorite Western Whirl while putting up an 83 Beyer in his penultimate race, and is dropping off a fade job in another N2X/optional claimer. There's no other speed signed on here and he could make all the running under the talented bug Adams – Ron Gierkink | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 7:30 ET Track: Del Mar (9th Race) Post Time: Lady Rider (#1, 8-1) Lady Rider proved she can handle turf last time with a runner-up finish in a turf sprint at this $25k claiming N2L class level. Now she stretches back to two turns; she finished in the money all four route races prior to her most recent start. 'RIDER finished more than three lengths clears of third last time while earning the highest figure of her career; she should get a ground-saving trip setting or pressing the pace stretching to a mile – Brad Free | Get Past Performances for this race
