DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Sunday, November 28, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
1:23 LRL 3rd Although LUXERO (#5, 5-1) is raised in claiming price for $5,000 to this $14,000 seller, it might be considered a lateral class move as the three-time winner takes advantage of the beaten condition by facing a group of "non-three" older horses. The fractions for the recent nine-furlong race weren't very fast, but that pace seemed to come apart late and he might have benefited from the race flow. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:45 AQU 5th DREAMPOINT (#9, 12-1) ran improved races both two and three back at Belmont while coming up short at the end, then stepped up in class and ran well again when last seen at Saratoga in a race where he had to wait for room; interesting as he looks to pick up where he left off over the summer. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:53 LRL 4th BULLETS LADY (#6, 6-1) had a nightmare trip the last time she ran on dirt. Sent off the favorite in a two-turn sprint at Timonium, she stumbled badly leaving the gate, was briefly in tight entering the first turn while behind a slow pace, then was extremely wide on the second bend. Despite the ground loss, she came with a solid run for fourth with a nice gallop-out. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:14 AQU 6th LIL COMMISSIONER (#2, 6-1) was returning from a long layoff when chasing and then giving way over a sloppy track in the Bold Ruler; has won his last four one-turn routes, including both AQueduct starts with Beyers of 92 and 97, and he has tactical speed. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:22 LRL 5th YES SIR COLONEL (#6, 9-2) chased multiple stakes-winner Pubilius Syrus in his last two starts at Penn National and seems well-spotted returning to this circuit. Pushed the pace outside last time and finished evenly without threatening. Although there are many minor awards on his page, he should get forwardly-placed and figures in with a chance turning into the stretch. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:14 AQU 8th WENDELL FONG (#5, 4-1) caught slop in the Bold Ruler off the layoff and gave way readily for the second straight time over that kind of going; form prior to the layoff was solid, including a 99 Beyer win while overcoming early trouble in the Fire Plug at Laurel; second off the layoff with races to contend. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:43 AQU 9th TASWEYA (#4, 15-1) only earned a Beyer of 54 in winning her debut sprinting but she did some good things in that spot while chasing wide before finding a good late finish to win easily in the end, and she still looked a bit green in the running of that race; Frosted filly is bred to stretch out, being out of a dam who went 2 for 4 in France, including a stakes win over 11 furlongs. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:08 WO 9th GOD OF LOVE (#10, 5-1) had a troubled trip as the favorite last out before closing belatedly in the nine-furlong Coronation Futurity. The son of hot freshman sire Cupid broke his maiden the time before on yielding turf in another $250K stakes for the Canadian-breds, the Cup and Saucer. He should have a fast pace to chase in this contentious G3. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:02 DMR 6th Last-out maiden winner SOLO ANIMO (#2, 4-1) and high-figure starter COSMO are tough to separate in this starter allowance mile. The call is 'ANIMO, who stretched out and scored a sharp maiden-40 win last out vs. a modest field (six rivals ran back, none won). The return to dirt should be fine; 'ANIMO ran okay both previous starts on dirt, and can fire right back with a forwardly placed trip in just his sixth start. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
