1:52 WO 2nd BENLION (#8, 12-1) rallied very wide for second behind a rival who came back to beat $25K NW3 foes with a 77 Beyer in his penultimate start on the Tapeta. 3:28 WO 5th COHERENCE (#6, 20-1) raced wide throughout over an inside-biased track when fifth three weeks ago in an open maiden special weight route. 3:45 GG 1st PROSPECT OF RAIN (#3, 5-1) was a good 2nd in his debut on dirt at FNO Oct. 10 at this level and was claimed. Off the claim they felt good enough about him to next face winners while routing for the first time while racing on this synthetic for the first time, so it's no shock things didn't go well. At least that gives him a feel for the track and he drops back to his claimed level and returns to sprinting, and maybe all that can get him back on track. 4:36 GP 9th SUMMER ASSAULT (#6, 9-2) and BIG DREAMING a couple of new faces who might upset the apple cart in their local bows. Former suffered through tough trip when dropped to this level and claimed by dangerous outfit in Ky. Earned high marks over the synthetic tracks at PID and AP last season. 5:58 WO 10th MIDNIGHT SAINT (9, 15-1) rallied wide from 11th to finish an encouraging fourth over an inside-favoring track when debuting in a $10K sprint.
