Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

11:50 AQU 1st THE QUEENS JULES (#4, 8-1) has sprinted on turf sparingly in his career but the results are there when he does go shorter - two wins and two close seconds from his five prior starts sprinting on the grass - and he was a clear-cut winner over 5.5 furlongs two starts back at Monmouth vs. a similar field; has tactical speed for a trainer who has been having success on this circuit from limited starters. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

12:54 LRL 2nd Perhaps dropping to the bottom nickel is just what the doctor ordered for NIC NIC BOOM (#2, 6-1) after a belated rally on Halloween. He received a good setup from mid-pack with fast fractions to go after, but the longshot winner never came back to the field. His running style is an obstacle as he has virtually no early speed so he’ll need a little bit of luck from a pace and trip standpoint. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:19 AQU 4th HARPER’S IN CHARGE (#4, 8-1) a firster for an excellent debut trainer and she has some pedigree being from the female family of Tepin and Vyjack; Clement four wins and four seconds from his last 20 juvenile first time starters in dirt sprints on this circuit ($3.24 ROI). -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:23 LRL 3rd Let’s forgive SPRING EMPEROR (#7, 6-1) for his last race as they tried to go 12 furlongs with him and he didn’t seem to stay that marathon distance. In his prior start sprinting, he faced two next-out winners (third-place finisher Rock On Luck returned to win an entry-level allowance by 5 1/4 lengths with an 82 Beyer) and might have been in a bit steep from a class perspective. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:52 LRL 4th Eight-time winner S W BRIAR ROSE (#3, 5-1) looks to be racing herself back into top shape as she makes her fourth start following a 502-day layoff. Dismissed at long odds in the Skipat Stakes at Pimlico, she saved ground at the back, swung five wide turning for home and finished in a one-paced manner to lose by less than two lengths. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:03 GPW 4th Stabbing at the new face CAT DIVA (#5, 12-1) against relatively slow looking bunch of state bred maiden claimers. Owns one bullet on her resume and seemingly well prepared to win at first asking for this tag. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:15 AQU 6th NEVER CONTENT (#1, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:33 GPW 5th MONMOUTH DR (#1, 5-1) turned in game effort trying one turn mile for the first time since leaving N Y last winter and better drawn on the rail today. re-unites with jock who guided him to last victory across down during the summer. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:52 LRL 6th TIZ MICHELLE’S WAY (#2, 8-1) fell far behind over an inside, speed-favoring track in a race that was won in gate-to-wire fashion by favored Bobby’s Goldengirl. She came with a belated run on the outside for fourth against a field that included five-time winner Sarah’s Treasure and three-time winner Mary’s Jewel. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:17 AQU 8th MORE GRAYTFUL (#6, 6-1) turned back to try this condition last month at Belmont and chased the speedy and in-form Foolish Ghost all the way to no avail; 3yo has had some excuses along the way and don’t think he needs to be ridden after the pace the way he was last time in order to be effective; needs to improve again but he has the upside. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:30 DMR 1st This turf mile for 3yo claiming fillies is a good spot to take a shot at a price with LADY NOGUEZ (#7, 8-1), whose recent form is better than it looks. Last out, facing better, she was trapped inside and behind runners on the far turn, steadied slightly, got clear late and ran her final quarter-mile in a quick 22.66 seconds and finished seventh. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:00 DMR 2nd CAPITAL HEAT (#7, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Brad Free). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:08 GPW 8th Lots of options in finale, taking shot with ETANA (#4, 12-1) who had little chance sitting well off :25 opening quarter splits in two local tries after rallying off similarly soft early fraction to win N2L around one turn this summer at Gulf. Should get legit pace here if Union Lane stays.-Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:30 DMR 5th SILK FROM HEAVEN (#9, 8-1) ran on well for 3rd at SA in a race like this Oct. 10, her first start in a few months. She then had trouble in another race like this there Oct. 25 but kept to her task. She’s worked nicely since and should get a good pace at which to run. – Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:30 DMR 7th The even-paced style PAID INFORMANT (#5, 6-1) has shown in sprints suggests she really wants to run two turns. The lightly raced Into Mischief filly gets that chance, stretching out and switching to turf, both for the first time. Her dam produced three turf winners, so the footing should be fine. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
