Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action. 1:00 BEL 1st KHADULLAH (#3, 6-1) is by capable debut sire Mission Impazible (12% with 2yo first-time starters) and from a dam who is a sister to several multiple winners, including stakes-winning sprinter I'm a Numbers Guy; has been breezing right along for Rudy, who is underrated with horses like this - 2yo, first-time starter, dirt sprint: 7 for his last 42, 17%, $2.57 ROI. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:48 GP 3rd LORD EDDARD STARK (#6, 15-1) is working up a storm. He draws best. His Beyers are below all of these and he has never run on at this track. Geez, seems kinda dire, right? New barn finds a spot where this gelding can't be claimed. That jumps off the page at us. As a maiden, this guy got back to back figs of 67 and 75 and both came in dirt sprints. There is talent here and we think new barn has found it. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:01 BEL 3rd STAR ATTITUDE (#7, 5-1) bumped into a blowout winner in a fast race for the level (85 Beyer)in his first start vs. other winners, then dropped and took a tough beat in his next start after engaging in a long duel; good effort on the cutback last time when coming clear and closing down two-life rivals in the slop; keeps improving and drew well while entering right back in a race he can be competitive in. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:26 PIM 5th BANDITS WARRIOR (#3, 9-2) pressed the 6-1 runner-up from the outside, couldn't keep up on the turn, and gave an even finish to split two next-out winners (third-finisher returned to win a second-level allowance with a 73 Beyer). Don't think the subsequent 77-day layoff is a negative as she had been racing non-stop for about a year without a break. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:32 BEL 4th BUTTER CAKE (#6, 10-1) a Godolphin homebred out of a dam who is a sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Frosted; this is also the female family of the excellent sire Midshipman, who was also a multiple Grade 1 winner; lands in a MSW that did not come up nearly as strong as it could have for Mott, who is 7 for his last 18 with first-time starters on dirt (39%, $5.66 ROI). -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:03 BEL 5th KING MOONRACER (#8, 6-1) returned from the layoff going shorter vs. allowance rivals and looked like he needed the run while making a move to get into contention in the stretch and flattening out late; trips are important to him but he benefits from this added distance; made a strong run to post the lone career win over this track and trip, and just missed in his next seven-furlong attempt while off the layoff. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:21 GP 6th BEGANINGREENPOINT (#8, 6-1) has never run poorly and draws better today. We know this gelding likes this surface. He figures as good a trip as anyone. Added half furlong is a plus but this guy will have to break in a new jockey as Reyes leaves for the Nicks runner. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:44 WO 6th SOUPER SUNSHINE (#8, 20-1) has worked fast in advance of his first start since a seventh-place finish in a key OS/$40K contest last August. The homebred could be competitive at a square price under Flores. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:05 MTH 8th RUNNING RIGHT BY U (#2, 12-1) stretches out for the first time and catches a field that's light on early speed, which could mean he's on the lead today, especially considering his inside post; well off the board in his latest but he was against the speed-favoring bias as well as the race flow, which favored speeds. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:16 WO 7th SILVER PEAK (#10, 6-1) beat maiden special opposition in front-running fashion in February at Tampa before getting another break. The nicely-bred Quality Road colt has been working right along and should be prominent in this N1X route, with the rail in lane 3. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:57 LAD 5th INDY TOURIST (#7, 6-1) figures a solid price. He is just better on the turf. He showed speed of late but can pass runners if needed. We like versatile runners especially if a price. Jock switch bodes well. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:20 WO 9th CAUSIN' MAYHEM (#, 20-1) has lacked stamina as a miler and might welcome the turnback to 6 1/2 furlongs here in his first try for Chiefswood's farm trainer Giliforte. His turf form isn't bad and Flores should be a good fit on the impeccably-bred son of Into Mischief. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:37 MTH 11th TRIPLE START (#10, 7-2) was well off the board in his first start against winners but that was against a better group than he faces here; figures to improve at this reduced level for trainer Kelly Breen, especially if he can get away from the gate smoothly, unlike in that last one. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:53 WO 10th LEGS LIKE GIZMO (#10, 8-1) has worked okay since his disappointing debut and is eligible to wake up on the stretchout from five to seven furlongs. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:56 GG 3rd STEIN'S GIRL (#4, 6-1) closed from third of five to win a conditional $3,200 claimer at a mile on May 6, ending a seven-race losing streak. She starts in a conditional $5,000 claimer at a mile in this race, and faces two rivals from May 6. There is no reason Stein's Girl cannot be a factor from off the pace and win consecutive races for the first time in her 28th start. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:21 LAD 8th SAVVY SHIPMAN (#1, 10-1) just won off the layoff even though she was trying a tough seven furlongs. Once again, she gets in light with the apprentice up. We know that this mare responds well to this jockey. She is a four time turf winner that ran second in her only local turf start. Race flow is fast if all stay in. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:00 GG 5th EXTRA INNINGS (#6, 5-1) needed seven races to beat maidens, doing so in an $8,000 claimer in his second career start on the synthetic track at Golden Gate Fields on May 6. Extra Innings faces winners for the first time in a $12,500 claimer for statebred 3-year-old milers that he can win with a stalking trip from an outside post. There is not much speed in the field, leaving the possibility that Extra Innings will set the pace. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
