Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action. 12:10 GP 1st Going with MO VANISHING (#1, 5-1) to open the proceedings; Augustin homebred clearly hasn't been showing JT all that much in the mornings, given the fact he's by Uncle Mo and is being unveiled right off for a $20k tag, but he might not have to be much to outfoot these others; tote might well provide the best clue. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  1:20 AQU 1st SARATOGA STRONG's (#5, 15-1) lone start sprinting came in his debut, where he looked very green and never got involved while appearing to really need the experience; has gone longer in all three starts since then in races where he couldn't get control of the pace; like the idea of cutting him back for this in his first start for an underrated trainer. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  1:30 TAM 3rd DUDEFOOLINGDARLING (#2, 10-1) was off the board in each of her first two starts of her career but she showed improvement in that last one, not coincidentally her first start with Lasix; eligible to run them all down late if she takes another step forward. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:00 TAM 4th LOVIN LIVIN (#8, 12-1) wasn't close in her recent tries at Gulfstream but she was against the race flow in each of her last three; now does in price and also in class, as she exits open claimers and now meets non-winners of a race in six months. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:30 TAM 5th CAYMAN QUEEN (#6, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race  3:00 TUP 1st GHOST OF GENEVIEVE (#2, 8-1) has only raced here once and she didn't get much play when sent off at almost 12-1. That race was decent overall and turned out key when 2 of 8 returned to win with figs of 58 and 55. This mare broke 7th of 10 that day which did not help matters. She should be fully acclimated now. Works are quite nice especially for this level. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  3:03 TAM 6th STARSHIP PRECIOUS (#9, 10-1) has been in search of that elusive second win for over a year but perhaps she has found the right field, as she seems well spotted against this group in terms of Beyers; has some tactical speed, which should help her get position early on. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  3:38 LRL 7th B B BAD (#1, 4-1) stalked in between horses at the back behind moderate fractions at Parx last month, dropped inside on the turn, then finished with minor interest along the rail. Brings competitive Beyer Speed Figures to this heat for barn that won three races between 2/28 and 3/1 at Parx. Lack of early speed might be an issue, and he could use a setup from a trip and pace standpoint. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  3:55 AQU 6th REGGAE MUSIC MAN (#3, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race  4:08 LRL 8th SNOOZE BUTTON (#6, 7-2) showed brief speed, then might not have cared for racing in between horses and dropped back badly. Finished in a one-paced manner along the inside without threatening, but showed some interest on the gallop out. That race was dominated by a sharp first-time starter (fifth-finisher returned to run third for $30,000 with a 41 Beyer). There is some stamina in the female family as the dam is a half-sister to multiple stakes-winning router Grecian Maiden (86 Beyer on synthetic). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  4:27 AQU 7th VALENZAN DAY (#8, 10-1) is the lone entrant in this strong field for the level with more than a maiden win to his credit, though he will be facing a couple of rivals exiting fast maiden victories as he drops out of the Jerome; has run well without the lead in the past, which could be key here, and he will also be getting Lasix for the first time; needs his best but might get overlooked a bit based on figures. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  5:10 TUP 5th IMPULSUS (#4, 9-2) is a new route horse...we think. We just really liked her most recent and it wasn't even a Beyer top. She did try Oaklawn foes a while back with those tons better than these. A small knock in that this barn is 0 for 10 with horses that won their last race. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  5:22 OP 8th STELLAR LADY (#9, 10-1) has kept some stellar company in her past races, including an eventual champion in Wonder Wheel. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  5:38 TUP 6th RAPPORT (#6, 5-1) tried two turns on the turf in his debut at Del Mar and nothing is tougher. Something went awry after that debut as this gelding wasn't seen for over three years. Yet he returned to win as a 7YO. His follow up try was a nice even effort going only five furlongs. Now he goes third off the layoff and adds 1 1/2 furlongs. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  7:01 SA 8th ITALIANO (#9, 4-1) finished third both recent starts for $16k and $20k claiming; a drop to the lowest level of his career could be enough. It is difficult to endorse a dropper with confidence, of course. ITALIANO is trained by Jeff Mullins, who also starts dropper OCTOPUS. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race  7:16 GG 8th This race has a Southern California influence. Three of the seven runners last started at Santa Anita. PRESKITT (#1, 6-1) showed significant improvement when she finished second by a head in a race at this level at Golden Gate Fields on Feb. 12. Preskitt stalked the pace, led in the stretch and was caught late in her second start following a seven-month layoff. She should have a pace to follow in this field. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race
