1:39 GP 4th VINTAGE STYLE (#7, 5-1) is experimenting on the grass without much turf breeding, but she’s taking an important drop from maiden special to maiden-claiming company, a high-percentage angle for Weaver. 2:50 AQU 4th ESOR (#1, 7-2) and A GRAY FOR CAROLYN (#3, 5-1) both cutting in half for this for the same trainer and they were also in the same race on 1/31, where they finished 3rd and 5th, respectively, at big prices for $40k. ESOR ran back in the mud last month and finished last behind a front-running winner in the mud, but his races over fast dirt make him a major player in here. 3:25 TAM 8th J P HELLISH (#5, 8-1) seems to hold a tactical advantage in this Turf Classic as the main speed in a relatively paceless race. 5:22 GP 11th PROLIFERATE (#5, 8-1) is coming off a one-year layoff at a reduced classification as a new gelding, after working regularly at Casse’s Ocala training center.
