1:57 GP 3rd ALANIS (#7, 4-1) just ran a little better and now goes third off the layoff all for a top shelf barn. This filly has some speed and draws outside main pace foes. 2:55 SAR 6th HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPS (#7, 8-1) is one of the speeds, and he ran well two back when dueling before gamely lasting for third; tried stalking/chasing on the outside last time to no avail; underrated, and Rudy has been on a good run lately. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race
3:10 WO 5th AWESOME RAINBOW (#1, 6-1) came up surprisingly empty after a two-wide stalking trip in his May 4 seasonal bow. The stakes-placed 3yo has since worked brilliantly and could get back on the beam at a square price. – Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race

4:42 MTH 9th PRIME MOTIVE (#2, 7-2) showed late interest when last over this strip, two back, and that was a sprint that was dominated by the speeds in the race; easy to forgive the failed two-turn test last time out, and he has every right to move forward back at six furlongs, in his third start off the layoff. – Kenny peck | Get PPs for this race
4:50 WO 8th DEWOLF (#1, 7-2) has been working up a storm, including five-eighths in a rapid :58.40 with champion Caitlinhergrtness May 14, while getting ready for his season debut. 5:13 SAR 10th FIREBALLIN (#6, 10-1) was away from the gate slowly, then did a lot of racing to recover en route to winning his debut going seven furlongs last year; he faced stakes-quality Soontobeking on his next start, then got left behind by top 2yo NY-bred Sand Devil in the Damon Runyon before the layoff; showed some potential last year, and starts back with Lasix on looking to fire fresh once again. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race
