Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:25 LRL 1st VISBY (#4, 5-1) has started once on turf, and that was as a second-out maiden against stakes horses. Didn't break well in that race, stalked a fast pace four wide, made a strong outside bid to the lead, then was swallowed up by the long stretch. The winner then placed in Saratoga's Coronation Cup with an 89 Beyer before winning the Galway there with a 90. -Dan Illman  1:10 WO 1st EMPTY GESTURE (#6, 10-1) is by the good 16% first-out sire Reload and her dam dropped three winners, including the sprinter We'llseeaboutthat ($215K). The $45K 2yo purchase is reasonably spotted by a trainer who won at a 17% clip with first-timers over the past five years ($2.24 ROI). -Ron Gierkink  2:04 LRL 4th KICK STARTNESS (#2, 9-2) repeats the sprint to route move that resulted in his win three starts back. Broke a bit outward sprinting over sloppy Pimlico going, tracked three wide/four path on a track that seemed to favor outside runners, made a three-wide bid on the turn, then tired in between horses. He can work out a good tracking trip for barn that went 9 for the last 19 (47%, $4.62 ROI) going sprint to dirt route. -Dan Illman  2:22 GP 4th BOOMCCHERO (#8, 6-1) drew the rail in his debut and then broke 6th of 7 and for some horses that would be that. This colt recovered nicely and went on to win even though he was sent off at 8-1. He draws tons better today and goes for a barn that is 2 for 3 with their allowance runners. This colt has worked three times since his debut and we like as much as anything. -Scott Ehlers  3:38 WO 6th MYRA'S BOY (#1, 8-1) had a tardy start before taking the long way home to finish on the edges behind two of his current rivals when adding Lasix in his comeback on the Tapeta. He got third in his only inner turf try going five-eighths at 2 and could crack the top three at a price in this two-turn inner turf tilt. -Ron Gierkink 3:41 MTH 7th OUT OF FAVOR (#10, 5-1) was off the board in his debut for trainer Chad Brown at Tampa but that was a decent group, with the winner coming into the race off an 80 Beyer, and the runner-up coming off a figure of 76 in his prior start; this gelding ran deceptively well, as he was trying to close ground in a race where the speed-types held the edge, and he can take a big step forward today given a quick, contested pace up front. -Kenny Peck 4:39 MTH 9th GRAY VIXEN (#10, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). 5:08 MTH 10th JOHN JAY (#4, 6-1) has proven speed and lands in a race where he could well be the controlling speed, a much better scenario than he encountered in that seasonal debut here last time, when he was caught in a duel in a race featuring several speeds; flattered when one of those rivals, eventual last-place finisher Causes Trouble, returned to win his next srat at Parx (83 Beyer). -Kenny Peck  5:14 WO 9th STORMY ENTRY (#4, 10-1) was stakes-placed on synthetics in Ireland before missing most of last year and has been working up a storm for his turf debut in this conditioned allowance, which will be his first race as a gelding. The son of excellent turf sire Point of Entry is out of a mare who was second in the G1 Natalma here on the main turf. -Ron Gierkink 5:46 WO 10th BOURBON NORTH (#5, 20-1) prevailed in a front-end battle before wilting in the final furlong when debuting in a seven-furlong Tapeta tilt. The son of Collected is bred for the grass on both sides of his pedigree and might welcome the surface switch with accomplished international rider Saadi picking up the mount for a capable conditioner. -Ron Gierkink 5:55 GG 4th YODERANDO (#3, 4-1) disputed the pace in a race at this level, a conditional $6,250 claimer for fillies and mares, and won by three-quarters of a length on May 10. She has an excellent chance to do so again and record a third consecutive win. Yoderando is unlikely to face considerable pressure from six rivals, and has a good draw in post 3 for her forward style. -Steve Andersen 6:43 SA 6th IRRESISTIBLE FORCE (#6, 6-1) was overmatched and finished next-to-last her most recent, but runner-up finishes two and three back at this N1X level indicate she is good enough for this N1X turf sprint. Those two good races were routes; she won a maiden turf sprint here last spring. She is back where she fits, with speed for a pressing trip, and is proven at the level. -Brad Free 7:15 SA 7th CHISMOSA (#1, 4-1) returns to preferred dirt footing after a creditable third in a G3 turf sprint slightly more than two weeks ago. A consistent Cal-bred by Clubhouse Ride, CHISMOSA can upset RICHI, a multiple Group 1 winner from Chile making her U.S. debut with fast works. The likelihood of a contested pace benefits off-the-pace CHISMOSA, whose two dirt sprints at Santa Anita produced a G3 win and G2 runner-up. She wheels back in 15 days and drew the inside post, but the race sets up for the honest filly who can rally for the win. -Brad Free
