?q=100)
Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action.
2:04 MTH 4th SECRET TEMPTATION (#3, 8-1) is bred to love a grass sprint with turf and distance Tomlinsons of 391/401. She tried the grass for the first time two back and ran evenly all while returning off a long layoff. She had trouble in her most recent. Now she goes third off the layoff and even gets some pace to chase. Her best should come today all for a barn that is 20% on the grass. – Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
2:18 WO 3rd DRAGON’S BREW (#7, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race
3:13 BEL 6th Though FAST GORDON (#10, 8-1) has run several races that would put him in win contention, his win odds aren't likely to reflect that, with most fearing the long layoff. Maybe this is a prep for Saratoga, as connections waive the claim price, but when you're talking about a 7yo with nine career starts, planning more than one race at a time seems a dicey proposition. In fact, a horse like this often runs best fresh before racing eventually takes its toll. Can sit a trip just off the pace. – Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race
3:29 MTH 7th POLITELY CROWNED(#4, 6-1) broke 8th of 9 in her most recent all in a race that was pulled from the grass but she still beat half the field home. Her work prior to that race was a bullet best of 86. This mare goes fourth time for new barn and finds a race with little going for it. – Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
3:47 BEL 7th I’MHAVINGAMOMENT (#7, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh). | Get PPs for this race
3:57 WO 6th GREEN FLEET (#2, 12-1) saved ground until near the stretch before kicking in nicely to win a $25K claimer in his first inner turf excursion June 11. He matched the Beyer par of 83 for his N1X level that day and could prevail with a similar trip here under regular rider Stein. – Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race
5:00 GP 9th BUCKMASTER (#8, 10-1) adds a set of blinkers and the equipment move is a high percentage one for Orseno, according to statistics from Daily Racing Form. – Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race
5:35 LRC 4thThis bottom-level maiden-claiming sprint is a split of race 6, and career maiden WARREN'S SHOW BIZZ (#1, 4-1) is the tepid choice. She stumbled and lost her rider at the break opening weekend, worked an easy five furlongs since, and gets another chance while running over the LRC track on which she missed by only a nose in December. Fifteenth time the charm? – Brad Free | Get PPs for this race
