Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:24 GP 2nd CARAMBASO (#5, 5-1) is by a 18% debut turf sire (all sire stats are for 2YO's only). His dam went 35-1-7-8 and banked 36K. All 4 sibs won and two beat winners with earnings of 59K and 173K (won 2YO debut). Works are well spaced and this barn is 19% with their debut maidens. – Scott Ehlers 1:53 GP 3rd PARACAS (#5, 15-1) is by a 18% debut sire. Her dam was un-raced. Of 4 sibs to race, 3 won and all 3 beat winners. The two best sibs earned 268K (won 2YO debut) and 150K (2-1-1-0 as a 2YO). This barn is only 6% with debut runners and two turns in a debut is tough but we think this filly finds a good spot. – Scott Ehlers 2:50 WO 4th SECRET STORM (#4, 12-1) is getting back onto his preferred grass surface off an improved run in his second race off the sidelines and could turn the tables on BASKETBALL JONES, who has been knocking on the door vs. NW2 stock for an eternity. - Ron Gierkink 3:07 BAQ 5th SNOWY EVENING (#2, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (David Aragona). 3:21 MTH 6th SEE THE TRUTH (#5, 10-1) showed some potential in his two starts as a juvenile and he may have been telling us something when he fired a bullet working from the gate July 3. He would not be the first horse to improve substantially as a 3-year-old and it is encouraging to see the blinkers coming off as the past five years Ward has a 33% strike rate and $3.40 ROI with horses running without shades the first time. – Randy Goulding  3:30 GP 6th WAR BEAT (#7, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers).  3:39 BAQ 6th There really isn't any meaningful form in this NY-bred maiden affair for 2YOs; DANCING BEAR (#3, 15-1) showed little in his dirt debut, but he's supposed to appreciate the switch to grass; progeny of War Dancer don't typically win first out, but that sire gets 15% turf sprint winners; there's a little turf on the dam's side, and this colt looks like one that should relish this surface switch. – David Aragona  4:23 WO 7th LITTLE TEDDY (#2, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink).  5:27 WO 9th PINE KNOLL (#1, 8-1) has been freshened since getting claimed for $25K when a flat fourth from a March 8 optional event at Turfway--the top two finishers have both since won. He ran well on the grass off the bench in the past and has been working right along. – Ron Gierkink 6:33 LRC 6th DREAMING OF HOPE (#6, 5-1) flashed talent last summer/fall and while she hasn't been seen since she hails from a barn that's super off a long layoff like this. That last run when fourth vs. similar at DMR last Dec. 3 looks even better when you note three she faced came right back to win. – Michael Hammersly
