Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:25 LRL 1st THEOLA FUGGINS (#1, 15-1) took advantage of an uncontested lead over a speed-friendly track to post facile maiden special victory at Charles Town two back, then chased a fast pace to no avail in return to the circuit. Drew inside with the tactical speed to get close to the pace, and adds Lasix once again for barn that is 6 for the last 14 (43%, $4.47 ROI) with the "Lasix on" move. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 12:56 LRL 2nd LOOKIN FOR JUSTICE (#4, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman). | Get PPs for this race 1:18 AQU 3rd Getting forward might be key in this race and NICHOLAS JAMES (#7, 7-2) has shown the kind of speed to get him there in the past. Not sure what was going on last time when last from the start and offering little as the favorite, but he is faster than that early and drawing outside helps; lone win came while riding a speed-favoring track on debut, but he came back with a faster race two starts later and owns the top two dirt figures in this field. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race 2:01 LRL 4th KARAN'S NOTION (#5, 8-1) was bumped leaving the gate in the Fire Plug, then was held up behind a slow pace while three wide. Hard-ridden on the turn when the pace sped up, he finished evenly in between. He has a lot more speed than that, and is expected to use it dropping back into the allowance ranks. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 2:03 TAM 4th THOUSAND LOVES (#2, 20-1) makes his third start off the layoff and comes off a tough trip in his latest, where he was caught up in a race-long duel; lost his best chance at the start in his first try off the short rest when he hopped at the break. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 2:17 AQU 5th NOW SHOWING (#2, 7-2) might have been using the November debut for experience, as she was not aggressively ridden in that spot and weakened late after making a mild move while four-wide on the turn; that race has produced three next-out winners and Give Me Kisses returned to finish 2nd in the Gin Talking at Laurel; Terranova an excellent 8 for his last 18 with MSW second-time starters sprinting on dirt (44%, $4.01 ROI), 5 for 10 at Aqueduct in that sample ($5.77 ROI). -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race 3:03 TAM 6th PARTY DREAM (#2, 8-1) did not earn the best of Beyers in that debut run but that was a visually impressive effort, as she was away slowly and then was moving very well through the lane; should be running late once again, and a slow start would clearly help the cause. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 3:33 TAM 7th URBAN BEACH (#3, 15-1) may be a worth using at a price, as his last couple of races don't inspire confidence but he did have excuses, including some traffic that precluded him from making a bid late last time and a slow start in a race lacking speed and featuring a gate-to-wire winner in his first start off the layoff; improvement possible if he gets some racing luck. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race 4:19 GP 9th Banking on something similar to the October debut by MY MAN IRA (#6, 6-1) in giving him a slight edge in what's clearly a tough-to-decipher first-level allowance for 3yos; colt couldn't quite get the mile in his only subsequent start, but that was after he acted up in the gate and was perhaps a bit too keen on what was a demanding pace; turns back following a nice series of Boynton drills for D'Angelo, who continues to establish himself as one of the top conditioners on the year-round circuit. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race 4:40 TAM 9th SKIPPERINI (#8, 8-1) was closing with some interest but wasn't asked for his best in the lane last time once it was clear he would be no better than 5th, and while he was off the board two back the race flow was not in his favor; has some upside and he should be a price. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  6:14 GG 6th FOREIGN PROTOCOL (#6, 4-1) has been second by a neck in his last two starts, closing well to just miss winning a $16,000 claimer and $20,000 claimer in late November and earlier this month. He figures to gain a tracking trip from post 6 in this field of seven and has an excellent chance for a third win in his last seven starts. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race 7:45 GG 9th ROSE DAWSON (#2, 9-2) is the only runner in this field of eight who has won a $200,000 race, the California Cup Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at a mile on turf at Santa Anita last January. She is winless in her last six starts, the most recent of which was a fifth-place finish after a wide trip in an allowance race at six furlongs on Jan. 7. Rose Dawson finished with interest in that race and should appreciate this added distance. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race
