12:20 AQU 1st FAZARO (#4, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:58 GP 2nd Giving a fresh GHOST FIGHTER (#4, 4-1) every chance to run big off the year layoff for the former Chuck Simon asst. Susan Ditter, a veteran in her own right; pricey Oxley steed has tip-toed his way down the ladder amid frustrating futility but lands in quite the soft spot here after getting sufficient Boynton prep beneath him on the drop. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:42 TAM 4th MOON SECRET (#2, 20-1) is kin to two minor winners and he hails from a barn which excels with firsters, especially in maiden claiming races; worth a shot at what should be a decent price against a seemingly average group. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:57 GP 4th Another fresh start for CAJUN LOVER (#9, 8-1), who we fully expect to come out swinging when loading-n-going from the open-air outside box; the $25k tag and Lasix can help this dude go a lot deeper down the lane than in his first two. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:14 TAM 5th MISS LADY L (#7, 8-1) wasn't far off the winner in that turf debut and she was moving well through the late stages of that race, and while the fast early pace and slow final split aided the closers she doesn't meet the strongest of fields here; given another good set up she can certainly make the last run. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:31 GP 5th Turf or synth (remember, there's rain in the long-range Sunday forecast), BREAKTHROUGH (#5, 15-1) can make his presence felt in this opening leg to the 20-cent Rainbow 6 after being overmatched in the Janus when further disadvantaged by the preceding layoff; touch of class makes him a player at this 'beaten' $35k level. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:50 TAM 6th OVER IT (#3, 4-1) makes his first start off the layoff and returns as a gelding, and the works suggest he'll come back running for trainer Tim Hamm; making him most appealing, however, is the expected race flow, as he has a proven late kick and this race features a good amount of speed. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:03 LRL 7th NANA'S SHOES (#6, 4-1) tracked the pace inside, angled widest turning for home and finished evenly for third in return to the circuit. Finished directly ahead of Joyful Noise in that spot and that mare returned to run third for $16,000 with a 60 Beyer. She's a multiple winner going a one-turn mile, but needs a bit of pace help up front. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:19 OP 7th CAMARGO (#4, 5-1) exits a key maiden race at Churchill Downs, with the winner coming back to account for a local allowance in 1:09 and change. This one will be first Lasix. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:05 SA 4th Steve Knapp trainees BOLD VOYAGER (#6, 7-2) and SOMETIMES ALWAYS merit top billing in this N2L low-level claiming sprint. 'VOYAGER raced at this level only once previously, runner-up while racing one mile on this track during the fall meet. He was subsequently overmatched twice at long odds, but now returns to his proper level. Seven furlongs is just about right. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:14 GP 10th Not many outfits around as quietly capable as the one overseen by Sarah Nagle, who might well be taking an edge here with SUMMER BEAUTY (#9, 9-2) when spotting the filly for less than half the $35k for which she was claimed in June; perhaps a new lease on life when moving onto the Tapeta. -Marty McGee | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:35 SA 7th Not sure if turf is the best surface for ROCK THE BELLES (#2, 5-1), but she is a three-time winner entered for the optional $100k claim tag in this N1X turf sprint. Fresh off a neck victory last out in a stakes race at Turf Paradise, the versatile filly seeks her third straight. In her only previous start on turf, she did not have a good trip. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
