Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:39 GP 2nd I'M A SURE THING (#7, 6-1) ran well before the layoff and did so going long on the grass including the local green. She ran a Beyer top two back and now strings four races together. She is bred to love the grass with her 383 turf Tomlinson and goes for monster connections. Race flow is fine and this filly shouldn't be a maiden for much longer. -Mike Welsch  12:55 LRL 2nd RAHMER (#3, 6-1) listed as a Laurel vet scratch on 5/5, must deal with a 273-day layoff, but he was competitive against some solid state-sired allowance horses before the break. Broke slow last time out, tracked three wide, then finished evenly behind the two favorites (Rad Paisley returned to place in a Charles Town allowance with a 72 Beyer). He has enough tactical speed to sit just off the leader(s). -Dan Illman  1:04 TAM 2nd NOTACATBUTACARD (#7, 12-1) usually sprints but he has won going long, and he could be the one to get first run at expected pacesetter MISTER WINSTON; makes his first start off the claim by trainer Michael Simone, who wins at 22% with this angle. -Kenny Peck  1:19 AQU 3rd DREAMAWAYSEVEN (#6, 10-1) might be in a little trouble if some of her rivals show up here with a top effort, but she has the advantage of being lightly raced, and like that she cuts back in distance for this while also dropping in class; can pull a better trip here if getting out of the gate this time. -Mike Beer  1:38 GP 4th VERY PRACTICAL (#9, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck).  2:04 TAM 4th STATELY APRIL (#2, 12-1) was well off the board in her first and only try on the turf, and that was despite a favorable pace scenario, but it was also against better, and she's not only way down in class for this but she also meets a seemingly below-average field for the level; had a couple of valid excuses in that sprint last time, including a slow start, and she may be worth a shot at a square price. -Kenny Peck  2:17 AQU 5th UNCLE WATER FLOW (#4, 8-1) hasn't been able to pick up another victory since posting a good-looking maiden win over this distance at Saratoga, though his figures have improved along the way; didn't like the trip he pulled two back over this course and distance, his two surrounding races have taken place over wet tracks; might be a price getting a trainer change. -Mike Beer  2:26 OP 3rd PAT'S GAL (#14, 5-1) was second at this level last time and would be a chief contender were she to draw into the body of the race. -Mary Rampellini  3:07 GP 7th TEARDUC (#6, 8-1) ran great in her first two starts but not so much in her third. Did something go awry in that race hence the time off? We do know that she can fire fresh. Versatile runner did run well in lone try on this surface. -Mike Welsch  3:18 AQU 7th LUNI SIMA (#3, 15-1) actually ran fine last time while unfortunately landing in a race where the multiple stakes-winner Maker's Candy fired a triple-digit Beyer; was also in pretty tough in his prior two starts while on the way back from a layoff; better fit in this field while also benefitting from the slight cutback, and there is some pace in here to set him up. -Mike Beer  3:50 LRL 8th MY FLICKER (#2, 5-1) benefited from smart and patient ride to win over closer-friendly track last month. Didn't break the best, but settled into a comfortable rhythm saving ground in midpack. Split horses in upper stretch, then gamely got the better of the runner-up while racing near the rail. The fourth-finisher returned to take a $20,000 starter at Aqueduct with an 81 Beyer. -Dan Illman  4:03 TAM 8th SHE'S SO VOCAL (#10, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck).  4:16 AQU 9th THE DELAWARE BOYZ (#3, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).  4:52 OP 8th CHROME BABY (#7, 4-1) might get an ideal setup behind a handful of these. He is coming off a strong Remington Park season in which he won back-to-back allowances, one with a career-high Beyer Speed Figure. -Mary Rampellini  5:00 SA 4th WARREN'S WILD RIDE (#5, 4-1) faces starter allowance winners for her second start after a better-than-looked debut win. She walked out of the gate to be away dead last, made an extended rally, and won clear. The race was much better than the low figure. With a clean takeoff, she can win right back. -Brad Free
