Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:20 AQU 1st BECCA'S WISH (#1, 6-1) is by a new sire in Mshawish who had an underrated year with his first crop of runners, getting twelve winners and scoring with 22% of his first time starters while proving to be versatile in terms of surface; this filly is from a dam who won eight times and is a sister to a pair of stakes winners, from the female family of Grade 2-winning sprinters Magicalmysterycat and Burmilla; Englehart continues to impress with his debut runners. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:25 LRL 1st AMEN CORNER (#3, 7-2) takes a needed class drop as he's finished ahead of a total of one horse (not counting the rider-less Team Effort) in his last three races. Perhaps he can't run anymore as he was listed as a vet scratch on November 21, then returned with a one-paced performance in a starter-optional 15 days later. Still, he's never been this cheap and deserves a opportunity at this reduced level after facing stronger competition. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:54 LRL 2nd Think Lasix and blinkers will help DA CHROME (#5, 7-2) focus a bit better as he's run in spots in both starts. Split horses three wide on the turn in initial route, but was soon outpaced. Eased widest swinging into the stretch and passed some tired foes. That was a pretty good field with favored Gun Law performing as expected and the runner-up returning to graduate by 7 3/4 lengths with a 56 Beyer. Like to see the pair of five-furlong workouts leading up to this race. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:20 AQU 3rd FAIR LASSIE (#7, 9-2) stepped up off the Broberg claim last time and failed to land a blow after getting outrun to the lead behind the in-form Invaluable; at her best when able to make the early lead, and she drops back down to the right level for this in a race that does not have much pace signed on. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:53 LRL 4th The hope is that RONA (#3, 12-1) will figure out the starting gate one of these days. Two back, the gray mare was forced in and bumped at the start before saving ground behind moderate fractions. She altered course outside and finished evenly while failing to threaten the top three. Last time out, she was bounced around leaving the stalls and tried to get into it with a four-wide bid on the turn. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:12 TAM 1st RIOJA PALACE (#3, 8-1) didn't break alertly and was bumped around at the start of his debut but after regaining his stride he moved up to stalk the pace, then made a nice mid-race run to threaten for the lead before giving way; that's certainly a race he can improve upon in his second career start, especially if he can get away cleanly this time. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:44 TAM 5th BUC'S INVESTMINT (#9, 7-2) has been in search of that elusive third career win since the summer but only two of those tries came on the turf, in his last two starts over this course, and he impressed in defeat each time, closing stoutly for the show three back and nicely again in his latest; needs pace help but given an honest tempo and a clean trip he may finally be able to run them all down. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:50 AQU 6th CITIZEN MATZO (#4, 9-2) caught a wet, sealed track for the second straight start when returned from Finger Lakes last month and failed to show up with her best; won over a muddy track at Belmont when dropped for the first time at the end of her 4yo campaign, but that surface wasn't sealed and she may rate the benefit of the doubt back over fast going. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:11 GP 7th MADEMOISELLE NOVA (#6, 12-1) is by perennial leading sire Into Mischief, who's gotten 16% first-out winners and 14% grass winners. Her dam dropped two stakes-placed grassers, and she's been working fast at Palm Meadows for the suddenly hot Casse barn. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:15 TAM 6th GOT FASHION (#1, 8-1) was left with too much to do in that first start off the break, and in his first start over this track, as a bumping incident at the start cost him position; gets blinkers and draws the rail for the first time, and if he can come out of there running he figures to take a big step forward. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:42 GP 8th DR HARLAN (#2, 8-1) beat several of his current rivals in a gutsy victory two weeks ago, and his trainer has a 30% strike rate with horses exiting a victory. Post 2 in dirt sprints has yielded around 25% winners at the meet. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:35 SA 1st Front-runner HONOR AMERICA (#3, 7-2) and late-runner MIDNIGHT DIVA (#4, 5-1) both ran well first out, either can win this special-weight sprint. The call is the speedster. HONOR AMERICA set a blistering pace first out, led to deep stretch, then got swallowed. She finished fifth by a length and a half. She will have to hold off MIDNIGHT DIVA, who broke slowly in her debut, trailed the field, then finished with run for third by a length and a quarter. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:45 GP 10th FORTUNE'S FOOL (#3, 15-1) is exiting a wide fourth in a second-level allowance at Aqueduct won by Pete's Play, who subsequently notched a $97K stakes with a 97 Beyer (sixth-place finisher Zoomer also came right back to score). His tactical speed should come in handy here under Jose Ortiz, who rode him to victory two back in a $50K conditioned claimer at Belmont. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:50 TAM 9th FLY NIGHTLY (#8, 7-2) endured all kinds of traffic issues in the lane in that last one, and may have even steadied at one point as he searched for clear running room; he knifed between horses late to get the show once he found a seam, and while he was too late there he showed that he is better than that 3rd-place finish might indicate. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:05 SA 4th A slow start and a blistering pace compromised FULL DRAW (#7, 4-1) last out in a maiden-40. He returns to the maiden-20 level at which he was claimed from a runner-up finish three back, and would tough to beat if he reproduces that second-by-a-nose finish. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
