Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:28 TAM 1st JOYFUL GHOST (#2, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck).  12:40 GP 2nd STARSHIP ABRAHAM (#5, 12-1) is a new turf horse. The layoff is worrisome but we spy at least six works and they are all well spaced. This horse figures as good a trip as anyone and maybe because of the layoff the price will be better than it should. -Scott Ehlers  12:55 LRL 2nd SIN PERMISO (#1, 6-1) showed improvement dropping to this level and getting Lasix. Broke a beat slow, then saved ground in midpack behind a quick pace. Cut the corner, was over in behind horses, then split foes with an okay gallop-out. Hoping from a better break from the tricky inside draw. -Dan Illman  1:58 TAM 4th PRACTICAL WAY (#5, 15-1) cuts back to one turn but he exits three straight races which featured closer-friendly race flows, and he was on the lead in all of them; this elongated sprint isn't loaded with speed and he may be able to shake loose in his first start off the Mario Lopez claim. -Kenny Peck  2:35 OP 3rd GOLD STRATEGY (#5, 6-1) gets off the fence after breaking from the rail last out in a large field of sprinters. The start came against steeper, too. -Mary Rampellini 2:51 AQU 6th BREAKING STONES (#7, 10-1) earned an 86 Beyer winning an allowance race off the claim last February, then landed in a very fast N2X race in his next start (100 Beyer for the winner); hit the board in six straight allowance races at Finger Lakes at the end of the year before finally backing off and getting a break; tactical from the outside and starts back in the right kind of race. -Mike Beer 3:07 GP 7th IRIS'S DREAM (#6, 6-1) tried a tough debut distance of seven panels and ran OK while beating half the field home. That race came back key when 2 of 6 returned to win with figs of 70 and 60. Another three returned to finish second with Beyers of 70, 70, and 56. Lone sib is 13-1-1-4 and banked 31K. Added distance fits nicely and did you notice those longer works? The Winebaugh barn are 24% when returning a horse between 61-180 days. They are 23% on the dirt and 20% in routes (flat bet profit for both). -Scott Ehlers  3:21 LRL 7th TOUISSET (#1, 15-1) battled inside a 7-2 shot (finished fifth) while racing slightly off the fence, dropped inside on the turn, came back off the rail in the stretch, then held sway. Up in class and faces a tougher pace scenario, but think she can rate and finish with the right trip. Mena lands here instead of Sister Supream (943 lbs. on 12/31). -Dan Illman  3:24 AQU 7th LOOKIN' SUPER (#2, 10-1) came up with a strong effort to win from last with a new top figure back in August at Monmouth; ran well again two back, then showed improved tactical speed before overpowering that field last time with an 80; like his form since the claim and don't think he is overmatched by this field shipping in. -Mike Beer  3:55 AQU 8th Thought DESERT DALLIANCE (#1, 8-1) ran in a tougher race for the level last time when bumped both sides at the start; ran really well two back in his first start for Rudy when getting up close and dominating weaker; needs her best but there is speed in here and she can rate and run at a price. -Mike Beer  4:05 TAM 8th SEVENTY SEVENTYCAT (#7, 8-1) takes the drop he needs, as he was in against better in each of his last three starts, yet ran decent enough in defeat; he was at this level four back and ran the worst race yet but his last three figures put him right in the middle of this. -Kenny Peck 4:07 GP 9th PREVALENCE (#3, 12-1) is working well for his return. Race flow is fine as long as the two speed plus runners stay in. This 6YO is now a gelding which is a bit interesting. His last race came back key when 3 of 7 returned to win with figs of 96, 85, and 89 (two more finished 2nd with figs of 92 and 82). The surface switch is the X factor as this guy tries the green for only the 2nd time. -Scott Ehlers  4:26 AQU 9th THE DELAWARE BOYZ (#2, 10-1) ran much better than it may appear on debut when pulling a difficult trip, then contested the pace in his second start, before tiring; took a nice step forward last time while stalking inside before finishing gamely, but that race went to closers; one more chance. -Mike Beer 4:40 TAM 9th Hoping OUR FANTASY (#6, 8-1) gets a much better set up today than she did in her latest, when she was away slowly in a race that featured little speed; her effort to rally for the place there was excellent, and though she's up in class off the claim today she could be good enough to run them all down on the wire. -Kenny Peck
