1:43 MTH 3th The most recent win for DIZZY SIGHT (#2, 7-2) came in his last try on the dirt, at Giulfstream back in July, and the resulting Beyer gives him strong credibility as he makes his first start on the main track at Monmouth; tactical speed and inside post should ensure a favorable trip. -Kenny Peck
2:00 LRL 3rd CAIRO QUEEN (#9, 5-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman).
2:16 GPW 5th BASHA (#5, 6-1) returns from Kentucky off a pretty nice showing with open $20K foes over tricky KD course. Finished second, beaten just a length, when last seen in this category. One of many logical contenders should this one remain on turf. -Mike Welsch
2:50 GPW 6th HOT BABE (#6, 9-2) one of several new faces to contemplate debuting for this relatively cheap tag. Comes off the farm off steady series of works and should be fit and ready off the bat. Full to Fairy who wasn’t much but did win career bow at Woodbine for a $25K tag several years ago for same connections. -Mike Welsch
2:51 WO 4th GO GIGI GO GIGI GO (#7, 4-1) took the long way home from the back of the pack en route to a neck loss when dropping to this $15K NW2 class Oct. 2. -Ron Gierkink

3:01 MTH 6th DOMAIN (#11, 7-2) has been mostly racing on the turf this year, and while he has run well enough in defeat and earned decent enough figures it may well be that he’s at his best on the main track; most recent try on the dirt yielded an 80 Beyer, and he’ll be tough here if he can run back to that figure. -Kenny Peck
3:11 LRL 5th TRIXIE’S TIME (#3, 6-1) received a confidence boost with solid victory against weaker at Penn National. Tracked the leaders three wide, angled four deep turning for home and was on her way. Has the tactical speed to work out a nice trip from close to the pace and this extra furlong shouldn’t pose a significant hurdle. -Dan Illman
4:19 LRL 7th MAJESTIC PIC (#7, 8-1) steps up from the conditioned ranks after a solid win over two next-out winners (third-finisher Trixie’s Time returned to grab an open $6,250 claimer on turf at Penn National with a 67 Beyer). Enjoyed a nice trip pressing a slow pace from the outside, went after the leader in earnest under a confident ride on the turn and held steady in between rivals in the stretch. -Dan Illman
4:20 MTH 9th VISIONARY RULER (#7, 4-1) settled for the place but ran a solid race in defeat when last seen, against better, and the Beyer he posted obviously makes him a big threat in this spot; tactical speed should enable him to overcome this wide post. -Kenny Peck
4:47 BEL 9th XANTHIQUE (#5, 5-1) cuts back from a mile to a turf sprint for the Floral Park and the last time she made such a move she was an allowance winner at Saratoga. She also is proven on yielding ground at Belmont - if the forecast makes for such footing Saturday. -Mary Rampellini

5:25 LRL 9th DIXIE’S FASCINATOR (#8, 5-1) was bumped several times leaving the gate in turf sprint here on July 25, ended up stalking three wide behind a quick pace and was up for second behind odds-on winner Splasherstown. Willing to dismiss recent dirt starts as she doesn’t seem to appreciate that surface at all. Believe she’s in good form and should come running late. -Dan Illman
6:41 WO 11th LOOKINATAMIRACLE (#3, 10-1) battled four-wide for the lead on the turn before tiring in the Oct. 3 Toronto Cup Stakes. He annexed his last sprint start from off the pace in a July 3 N1X, and is tagged for the first time in this NW3 OS/$40K sprint. -Ron Gierkink
7:02 RP 3rd PORSUMSUGARONME (#5, 4-1) is a consistent sort who owns the field’s best collection of Beyer Speed Figures. -Mary Rampellini
7:15 WO 12th MITZI (#3, 8-1) got hung out five-wide on the first turn after a troubled start en route to a fourth-place finish in her first turf try around two turns on the inner course three weeks ag. -Ron Gierkink
9:59 RP 5th BANANA THIEF (#2, 9-2) exits a quick sprint and two back faced higher-priced foes at Saratoga. -Mary Rampellini
