DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Saturday, November 6, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:25 LRL 1st FLASH IS BACK (#6, 7-2) gets the nod in a wide-open event. He had a hard time keeping up to tougher in his first try with winners, but his maiden win two back was impressive and a similar effort puts him right there. He should also appreciate getting off the rail where he appeared to be intimidated a couple of times. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:30 GP 1st CAN'T BE BROKEN (#5, 5-1) has some decent tries here and there but something changed last out and we bet it was the switch to the Tapeta/synth. Off the pace style works for us. Why can't this gelding improve 2nd time this surface? Last chance for a good price? -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:33 BEL 2nd A RING THING (#14, 12-1), on the AE list, has spent most of her recent times going longer and facing tougher. She gets some class relief here and the distance cutback may help, too. She comes off a fine route at LRL Oct. 24 where she had the lead turning for home and in midstretch but tired late so this may be a better trip. She's Lopez's 1st call. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:10 WO 1st HARD EDGE (#2, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:56 GP 4th NEVERENOUGHCOCO (#5, 5-1) should be the value. Did you notice that this gelding has improved his Beyer speed figure in five straight? Now he goes third out on the synth with a closing style that works best. Full field helps the pace which helps this guys' late kick. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:33 BEL 6th O SHEA CAN U SEE (#2, 5-1) posted 2 good races here in the spring at about this level. Last time out he tried tougher and more expensive at SAR and was unable to make a dent but he's been freshened since, drops and cuts back to a better distance. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:15 BEL 7th OURAIKA (#3, 6-1) invades from France where she showed ample talent in the spring/summer. Her good 4th last time out came vs. boys, though that won't make those who made her the 1-1 favorite feel any better. She's worked steadily for this first U.S. try and trainer Motion does well with imports. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:30 WO 5th SOUL FREEDOM (#8, 15-1) encountered traffic troubles last time over a speed-favoring track before finishing four lengths in arrears. He won his two previous races, and could get back on track here despite moving up in class off the claim. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:02 GP 8th PRACTICAL WAY (#5, 8-1) is by a 25% debut sire. His dam went 10-3-2-1 and earned 177K (won 2YO debut). All 4 sibs won with 2 having beat winners. Best sib banked over 1.1MM (Spun to Run). Works are perfect. FELIX is by a 11% debut sire (all sire stats are for 2YO's only). His dam went 11-5-1-2 and earned 172K (won 2YO debut). Lone sib is 5-3-0-1 and earned 60K. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:38 GP 9th MADDY'S DREAM (#9, 12-1) ran great in both starts earlier this year. We rather like the time off. When you have a good one you take your time. Obviously this colt has matured since last seen. He draws best going this tricky distance. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:49 WO 7th OWEN'S TOUR GUIDE (#6, 12-1) put up an 83 Beyer last out after rallying along the rail to beat N1X rivals convincingly. She opened up too big a lead on the turn before tiring the time before in the restricted Algoma Stakes, a style which isn't her preferred. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:28 WO 8th BROADWAY (#9, 12-1) dropped back on the far turn before re-rallying into some traffic in the stretch to end up sixth with a career high 76 Beyer three weeks ago. The son of Quality Road is adding blinkers and could be construed as a live longshot in this N1X. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
10:48 RP 6th STALEMATE (#9, 5-1) has speed and a post that might give Cabrera options. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
11:42 RP 8th LIL BEAN MACHINE (#12, 6-1) ran a credible second in her debut and for the effort earned what ranks as this field's best last-race Beyer Speed Figure. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:09 RP 9th FORESTDUNGONE (#4, 10-1) is a consistent performer on dirt or turf and the 6-year-old is looking for career win No. 15. Racehorse. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
