Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:00 LRL 1st TIO TONY (#4, 8-1) has had his chances but several of his turf races were against better, and he's an upgrade candidate off his latest, at Parx, a paceless race which was run over a sloppy track; drop in class only adds to the appeal. -Kenny Peck 12:32 LRL 2nd PHRA PHROM (#9, 50-1) returns from a freshening and has lots of room to improve off his last pair, as he was against the race flow each time -- he was trying to close in a paceless race which favored speed in his latest (note bold "S" in pp line) and he was on the lead two back in a race featuring several speeds, which set up for the closers, as indicated by the inverted "C" in that line; drop in class another plus. -Kenny Peck 12:40 GP 1st TAKING IT ALL (#5, 8-1) showed good speed in her debut on this track Oct. 14 before tiring a bit to end up 6th. She looked like a horse who needed the experience and that plus today's drop can do the trick. One of her 2 sibs is winner Always Angel (9-3-1-1, $105K). -Michael Hammersly 1:20 AQU 4th REGISTER (#2, 8-1) gained valuable experience in his wet track debut then improved in his next start while showing speed; earned a big figure breaking his maiden on this track going a mile early in the year, before stretching out again to take a shot at a stake out of town; second off the layoff after breaking poorly vs. a strong field last time. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:41 GP 3rd TEXAS AIR FORCE (#4, 9-2) was no factor in his sprint debut vs. more expensive here Sept. 15 but he dropped to this level and moved to a route here Oct. 7 and vaulted forward, rallying well for 2nd, far clear of the others. That may be a sign he's found his game and level and is figuring out things. Four of his 5 sibs to race are winners including Mississippi Delta (21-7-3-1, $731IK, 4 SWs including 1 G3, 4 SPs including 3 G3). -Michael Hammersly 4:02 AQU 8th PRINCE OF PHAROAHS (#3, 6-1) scored first off the Dutrow claim despite moving up in class and earned an 85 Beyer for that effort going this distance; has been in tough since while holding his form; was entered in a lower-level race here a couple of weeks ago but was scratched. -Mike Beer 4:42 AQU 9th SHOP LIFTING (#6, 8-1) was well-meant for her Saratoga debut while taking money and then flashing good early speed, and it took a talented filly to run her down late in that spot; has turf in her pedigree and is confidently placed for this by a trainer who excels with second-time starting maidens. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:49 GP 8th EXTENDO (#8, 6-1) comes off a smashing win over $50KB claimers here Oct. 1. That was his 2nd freaky performance and the other likewise came on this track at this trip. He obviously loves the synthetic. Orseno not only saw fit to claim him he brings him back where he can't lose him to another claim which is most encouraging. -Michael Hammersly  5:17 AQU 10th TONY O (#8, 10-1) raced competitively vs MSW rivals on this surface through the spring and summer but failed to break through; finally gets the needed class relief for his second start off the layoff. -Mike Beer  5:23 GP 9th MEDIA SENSATION (#7, 9-2) has done his best work on this synthetic track. He's been freshened a few months after a busy schedule going back to last fall and that plus the drop might prove key. -Michael Hammersly  6:00 WO 9th SIMPLY IN FRONT (#6, 6-1) finished a clear second after saving ground over an outside-favoring main turf two back in the G1 Natalma. She bypassed the G2 Jessamine at Keeneland and the G1 BC Juvenile Fillies Turf in favor of this G3 on the Tapeta, over which she graduated most recently under Munger. -Ron Gierkink  7:45 GG 6th KERRY GOLD (#11, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). 8:15 GG 7th LAMMAS (#3, 9-2) is feeling great and now goes third off the layoff. He exits a key race where 2 of 4 returned to win with figs of 90 and 80 (another returned to finish 2nd with an 88 Beyer). This gelding switches to the synth today and that might be for the best. He won a graded stakes on this synth only 6 back and got a Beyer top of 96. Lots and lots of works including a recent bullet can only help. -Scott Ehlers  8:45 GG 8th THE SLAP (#4, 6-1) drops in class and tries the synth for only the second time. He beat over half the field home three back on this surface and that was off a layoff. He is better now, right? His grinding style works in this race and he draws fine. -Scott Ehlers  9:34 RP 4th LOGICAL MYTH (#7, 9-2) has been knocking on the door against some notable rivals and last out he was favored over OCELOT. -Mary Rampellini
