Barbara D. Livingston First post for Saratoga racing is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

1:10 WO 1st JAGGERSGOTAGUN (#3, 12-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink).

2:09 AQU 6th SABBY SUNSET (#5, 5-1) is by a 16% debut sire and out of a dam who won 15 times in her career; the most recent foal from At First Speight is Get a Job, who is currently 2 for 4 (with two seconds) and owns an 85 Beyer top; debuts for a capable first-out trainer. – Mike Beer

3:08 AQU 8th DAUFUSKIE ISLAND (#2, 12-1) won two in a row vs fellow NY-bred allowance horses last summer, including a 102 Beyer-effort winning in this condition at Belmont; has spent most of the last 156 months or so facing open allowance rivals to no avail, though he has held his own along the way; steps back with tactical speed. – Mike Beer

3:15 GP 7th DONTMESSWITHTESS one of any number of potential win candidates in this one. Getting ample class relief as well as those blinkers back on for the occasion. Loves the course. Tepid nod with a clean run from rail. – Mike Welsch

4:07 AQU 10th UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL (#1, 8-1) was dumped in for $16k by Pletcher at Saratoga two starts back and he put on a show that day while winning by open lengths with a 92 Beyer; was up in class off the claim when last seen, and he went fast in the early stages of that race before readily giving way; steps back a bit with a top race that makes him tough. – Mike Beer

4:25 WO 7th JUST FOLLOW ME (#1, 7-2) won two of her three Tapeta sprints this year, including the Algoma Stakes for graduates of Canadian yearling sales. She got a break after tanking on the dirt at Fort Erie in a Sept. 10 stakes for OS 3yos and is well-spotted in this allowance with a $50K-claiming option for 3yos. – Ron Gierkink

4:28 DMR 3rd ON THE WHIM (#11, 3-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Brad Free).

5:27 DMR 5th Last-out maiden winner RESOLVE (#1, 6-1) can upset stakes-placed SUPA SPEED in this G3 turf mile for 2yo fillies. RESOLVE improved each subsequent race; her decisive maiden win last out marked another forward move in her third start. She can rate comfortably, she can finish strongly. Since the 2014 inaugural DMR autumn meeting, six of the 10 winners of this stakes race entered off maiden races. – Brad Free
