1:45 AQU 5th AL'S ROCKET (#1, 8-1) lacked speed sprinting in his debut on dirt and worked hard throughout the running of that race before gaining 3rd; bred to be better routing and there is plenty of turf on both sides of his pedigree. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

1:54 GP 4th BRIAN'S MISSION (#5, 6-1) gelded since wide running effort in claiming and two turn bow last month in N.J. Should benefit from the effort, might surprise if handling the Tapeta okay. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race

2:14 AQU 6th SPUN AND WON (#7, 5-1) is 2 or 2 sprinting on dirt in his career and took a big step forward last time when carrying a long run after breaking a bit slowly from the rail, before gamely out-dueling an in-form rival to the wire; well-bred colt moves outside with forward to go. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

2:20 LRL 5th PHANTOM RO (#3, 9-2) took a light bump leaving the gate, then rushed up to engage 2 to 1 shot Scottsdale through fast fractions. While Scottsdale faded to last, Phantom Ro took over under a confident ride and held gamely for second behind sharp Confusion Baby Boy (returned to win an open nickel claimer with a 61 Beyer). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race

2:23 WO 4th DANCING DRAGON (#5, 20-1) worked well from the gate last Saturday and the front-runner could take some catching off a break in this $25K NW2 tilt, his first start with a tag. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race

3:23 LRL 7th As a lightly-raced 3-year-old, UNION GEN. GEORGE (#5, 8-1) still has upside and he returns to the course and distance of his victory two back. Liked how he adapted to the moderate pace in that spot to deny favored Romp (returned to finish third in an entry-level allowance with a 79 Beyer). Pulled a bit in the early going last time before finding pocket position. 3:53 LRL 8th VIBRANCY (#7, 6-1) is winless on turf, but she's been knocking on the door in recent starts. Enjoyed a solid closer's trip last time out as she saved ground on the backstretch behind a quick pace before coming with a four-wide run turning into the stretch. 4:23 LRL 9th KATIE'S NOTION (#6, 10-1) likely gained needed fitness when showing speed against special weight competition (the winner was shipping in from New York and was 1 to 5 on the board) in first start following a year on the bench.
