Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:50 AQU 3rd MI TRES POR CIENTO (#8, 8-1) dropped to defeat weaker second off the long layoff 12 days ago at Finger Lakes but showed that he is still capable in the process, as he was forced to chase over that shorter distance before still easily closing things down; has had a limited campaign as an 8yo but it wasn't that long ago that he was running races that would make him tough in here. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:05 GP 3rd Plenty of speed along with 3 Barboza's signed on makes this one a bit hard to gauge especially from a pace standpoint. TRULULU (#4, 12-1) has been away a long time but showed decent work here on 10/10 and getting ample class relief for return. Might hold enough of a class edge to be along in time for this tag. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:22 LRL 5th LEVISA (#8, 8-1) looked like a new horse when blasting lesser in a race washed off the turf here Oct. 15. Her 2 best races have come on this track and while the nature of that last run means she was facing lesser the effort hints the light has gone on. It's most encouraging they do not again risk her for a tag. -Michael Hammersly | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:33 WO 4th APRIL DE VELP (#2, 6-1) is returning from an extended layoff and her best of two races last fall was a second when fresh on debut. The 4yo has been working right along and is reasonably spotted in this $25K maiden tilt. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:43 AQU 9th DANCING BUCK (#12, 10-1) brought excellent form into this race last year, where he was forced to chase from an outside post and weakened late, then missed a lot of time; looked like he really needed that first start back at Saratoga when weakening late, then got rained off last time; might be set to get back to his best now and dangerous if he does. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:03 WO 7th AMI'S LINK (#7, 6-1) ran against the grain of a speed bias on the inner turf last out when sixth vs. $25K claimers. She's cheapening up to compete for $10K in this optional starter and could end a long drought in her third start off the bench. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:10 AQU 10th BELLA PRINCIPESSA (#2, 8-1) has alternated between turf and dirt throughout her career but she might be best on this surface; was in, perhaps, the best form of her career sprinting on this track into early 2022 while winning two of three starts with Beyers in the mid-70s before switching surfaces shortly thereafter, and she has made 7 of her last 10 starts on turf; second off the layoff. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:14 GG 2nd CHIPPEWA BUD (#5, 12-1) tried tougher in SoCal and actually ran a little better than it looks. His debut came around two turns and on the turf which is a tough spot. His next two starts which came on the dirt were not so good so he shipped here and won on the class drop. He digressed a bit in his most recent but that happens all the time when facing first time winners. A return to his win distance can only help. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:48 GP 11th HAKKIMI (#4, 12-1) showing gradual improvement from Beyer standpoint and obviously caught a good one in Del Mar finale, the race winner coming back to win Twilight Stakes with 90 Beyer on Breeders' Cup Saturday. Handled Tapeta well enough here in U S debut. Might be along to spring the mild upset with another forward move. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:12 WO 9th DREAM SHAKE (#3, 6-1) used his tactical speed to win back-to-back races here in July on different surfaces, most notably the G2 Connaught Cup on the main turf. The child prodigy has been working bullets on the Tapeta at Fair Hill and could post an upset under Hernandez, who's 4 for 12 at the meet for Stidham. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:13 GG 4th HEAVENLY VIOLET (#9, 15-1) showed some speed for a half mile in her debut and then called it a day. She got what she needed out of that debut and that is race experience. Now she draws outside all for a barn that is 23% with their 2nd time starters. Connections find a good spot. This is dam's first foal so no help there. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:45 WO 10th SHE MAKES A POINT (#8, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:13 GG 6th TWILIGHT EMPIRE (#8, 10-1) has done all of her winning on this surface. The layoff is short and we see a slew of works so all good there. This post isn't the best but this mare should be able to move over some before the turn as the speeds do their thing. If you discount those turf tries one and five back then she looks even better. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:43 GG 7th DESHAMBEAU (#2, 10-1) tried the turf for the first time in his most recent and it came off a layoff. His turf breeding is marginal but this guy only lost by five lengths. Now he tries synth for the first time but keeps two turns. This guy got good when the distance was added. He draws fine and win rider returns in Radke. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:59 RP 5th DO YOU BILEVE (#2, 5-1) ran a fine race on the cutback to one turn last out and like that she's been facing steeper. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets
