12:25 PIM 1st BALI'S SHADE (#4, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:54 PIM 2nd TOSS A COIN (#8, 12-1) looks and acts like a mare that will stay all day, and she should appreciate getting out to nine furlongs for the first time. Ran pretty well going a mile on turf last fall as she settled in midpack, was hard-ridden on the turn, then grinded for third. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:25 GP 2nd DANNYHILL (#4, 7-2) raced forwardly, held well in a race won by a horse from well off the pace. Repeat of that effort would likely be good enough in this spot. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:09 MTH 4th BIRD'S EYE VIEW (#9, 9-2) has a good late kick and this race does seem to feature plenty of early zip to help set up that stretch run; off the board in his latest but he didn't run badly at all, as he was moving well through the lane and was beaten less than two lengths. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:04 MTH 6th SEA MAIDEN (#2, 12-1) was a sharp winner over this track in her career debut, and though she failed to hit the board in her next two her first start against winners was in the two-turn Sorority Stakes and she was against a strong speed-favoring race flow in her latest (note the inverted "S" symbol in DRF pp line); has lots of room to improve given a better set up in her first start of 2023. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:33 LAD 2nd If this field stays intact, then simply wow as there are two big class droppers in here. That means over laid prices abound. REDIVIVUS (#2, 5-1) likes this dirt and distance. He won going this distance only five back. He never got a breather in his most recent and today's pace is better. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:40 BEL 6th ARCANGELO (#1, 10-1) has his work cut out for him as he steps up right off of his maiden victory, though he is not that far off these rivals, most of whom have had more chances; ran well in each of his first two starts without winning, including that second start when getting in tight in the stretch behind Kingsbarns; improved last time while finishing strong into a solid pace; bred to go on and will be a price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:01 LAD 3rd QUEEN OF MAGNOLIA (#5, 8-1) is better on the turf which she gets back to today. Her turf Tomlinson is a very good 351. This horse ran a Beyer top of 40 in her only turf start and she didn't even break well that day when 9th of 9. Current form is poor but to that we say.....good. It helps the price. If this comes off then so does our enthusiasm for this filly. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:12 BEL 7th MAMA BANNED ME (#13, 5-1) ran an underrated race in his debut last November at a big price; things didn't work out on dirt over the winter, and he was up against it again last time when back on the grass and left with too much to do after a conservative ride; drops with blinkers going on but will be outside again if he gets in. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:27 PIM 9th EL PATOJO (#8, 10-1) broke outward a bit in recent three-turn route at Charles Town, then was held up at the back behind a slow 25-second opening quarter controlled by the pacesetting winner. Tried to get into it with a midrace move along the inside entering the backstretch, but soon flattened out, and could only muster an even finish along the rail. The winner of that race returned to finish second in a $20,000 "two-life" claimer at Keeneland with a 71 Beyer. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:31 GP 8th JUNO SEA (#8, 9-2) makes main track debut, appears to be the quickest of this bunch, could stand some catching if clearing off early from Da Journeygirl. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:05 MTH 10th KATE'S GOLDEN DUDE (#6, 3-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:15 GG 3rd PERSUASIVE LIPS (#2, 8-1) is a half-length away from starting here on a three-race winning streak and is well-placed in this allowance race-optional claimer for fillies and mares at a mile. Persuasive Lips won one-mile races for $12,500 and $20,000 claimers in January and March before she finished second in a race at this level on April 21. -Steve Andersen | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:53 LAD 7th MY LADY LUNA (#2, 12-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:22 BEL 11th IRISH EMPRESS (#6, 8-1) made one turf start last summer at Saratoga and didn't run poorly at all that day while taken back to last and then gaining late ground; back to turf to face maiden claimers, this time with Lasix on. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
