Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. Post Time: 12:45 ET Track: Turfway (1st Race) Horse: DIVINE PASSION (#7, 15-1) DIVINE PASSION goes for team McPeek and they are 18% with their 2nd time maidens and 19% with their first Lasix runners. Any horse that debuts at Saratoga going seven panels is probably talented. Worktab at the the Fair Grounds is perfect. We bet this filly likes the synth and the price should entice. – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race   Post Time: 1:13 ET Track: Turfway (2nd Race) Horse: UTOPIAN (#2, 8-1) UTOPIAN ran tons better last out and it was her first start here. Is it too early for horse for course status? Turf and distance Tomlinsons of 321 and 403 bode well for another synth sprint. This guy draws just fine and goes for a barn that is 31% with their repeating winners (flat bet profit). – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 1:20 ET Track: Gulfstream (2nd Race) Horse: BROKEN SOUND (#2, 6-1) BROKEN SOUND comes off the bench dropping in against bottom level maidens for fist time and working well enough to merit the call for this tag. – Mike Welsch | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 1:43 ET Track: Turfway (3rd Race) Horse: BLESSED WARRIOR (#1, 10-1) BLESSED WARRIOR had improved his Beyer in his every start before his most recent where he broke thru the gate before the start and then blew the start. We can't toss that race faster. We love it that connections want a mile right back. A recent work is just right. – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 3:22 ET Track: Aqueduct (5th Race) Horse: LADY MERINGUE (#7, 7-2) Bottom-level maiden claimer drew about as weak a field as you're likely to get on this circuit, with only one of the seven rivals having earned a top figure out of the 30s on dirt. LADY MERINGUE showed speed to contest a fast pace for the level before tiring badly in her dirt debut last December; chased a dominant class-dropping winner over a speed-favoring track last time; drops all the way down into a spot where her early speed might be more effective. – Mike Beer | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 3:30 ET Track: Fair Grounds (6th Race) Horse: CUPIDS CRUSH (#5, 5-1) CUPIDS CRUSH, you realize, gave the graded-stakes class Medoro a front-running run for the money in the Krantz two races back. CC is not the sort of horse to string races like that together. She ran worse last month in the Stall Memorial, but I look at that as a bridge race getting her back to her best here in the Benson. Pace scenario in her favor. Likely to offer value. – Marcus Hersh | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:00 ET Track: Fair Grounds (7th Race) Horse: CHIANTI TOWN (#1, 8-1) CHIANTI TOWN did get weight of course but faced salty older rivals - the winner in particular is quite fast -- making his debut and lone start Feb. 21. I liked the look of his race. He traveled well enough down backstretch and around turn, and while the front-running winner got away in upper stretch, CT ran on and finished with interest. He's supposed to move forward in this, his second start, and if that happens he's got a great chance - provided a trip can be worked out from this rail draw. – Marcus Hersh | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:05 ET Track: Santa Anita (3rd Race) Horse: MICI'S EXPRESS (#4, 4-1) MICI'S EXPRESS stretches to a mile after a better-than-looked third in a sprint that was his first start in nine months. He lagged, lost ground on the turn, and went evenly late in a race that was dominated by speed. His races here last spring are fast enough. – Brad Free | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:13 ET Track: Turfway (10th Race) Horse: ENDLESSLY (#7, 12-1) ENDLESSLY slugged it out with graded foes in his return tries while getting marginal backing. What if 10 furlongs is a tad far? He is 2 for 2 going 9 furlongs and 1 for 1 here. We spy two speed horses to heat up the pace. Form cycle hints at better and we like SoCal shippers locally. Kimura up is the last piece of the puzzle. – Scot Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:25 ET Track: Gulfstream (10th Race) Horse: EXPRESSWAY (#4, 6-1) Tons of pace in this lineup could play to advantage of late running EXPRESSWAY who ran well behind wire to wire winner Shipmate in well graded Tapeta dash last time. Latter not likely to have luxury of the early lead in rematch. Not badly beaten by likely favorite INTRICATE SPIRIT last fall in N Y in the G3 Futurity while finishing a neck back of next out SW Attfield for third money that day. – Mike Welsch | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:27 ET Track: Aqueduct (9th Race) Horse: RIYADH MOON (#5, 10-1) RIYADH MOON is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:43 ET Track: Turfway (11th Race) Horse: MAXIMUM OFFER (#7, 9-2) Boy do we hope that team McPeek have a great day as we find yet another of their horses for the spotlight. MAXIMUM OFFER has done nothing but improve with experience. Never easy to chase early yet this gal was right there with a furlong to go in her most recent. We bet she takes another step forward if indeed she runs as she is cross entered in the Grade 2 Fair Grounds Oaks (same distance). Recent works are sharp and tactical speed helps the trip all at what might be a solid price. – Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 6:25 ET Track: Turfway (12th Race) Horse: MEDICI (#6, 6-1) MEDICI is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get Past Performances for this race
