Pressed the pace outside, took over without much fuss turning into the stretch and turned on the jets along the rail to win by eight. 2:41 PIM 5th WINDRUSH KARMA (#7, 10-1) is a half-sister to two older debut winners out of stakes-winning dirt sprinter Karma Police. This is the family of Grade 2-winning dirt sprinter (and millionaire) Friendly Lover. 2:50 WO 4th BENLION (#7, 6-1) checked in third among three next-out winners the last time he raced at this maiden special level and seven-furlong distance on the main turf Oct. 29. 4:11 LAD 2nd WHISTLE PLAYER (#4, 10-1) is the fresh face from the East Coast but one that has some decent figures. Work tab is perfect. 4:18 PIM 8th CROUCHELLI (#7, 6-1) doesn't have much speed and that has likely contributed to his 2 for 39 lifetime record. That being said, he ran a pretty good race two starts back at Laurel over sloppy going. After being bumped at the start, he worked out a solid closer's trip saving ground for most of the way. Caught a salty allowance field on Black-Eyed Susan Friday and didn't have much of a chance in a race where they ran 1-2 all the way around the track (the fifth-finisher returned to win a $25,000 starter allowance with an 83 Beyer). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:02 GP 10th DECKOLOGY (#4, 6-1) turned in promising two turn bow while making just second try on grass and may have found a home on grass. 5:02 MTH 11th ARTIE'S ROSE (#7, 8-1) has raced on the turf only once, in a sprint in her career debut, but she ran well there, and she seems to have landed in a very good spot for her first grass route try, with her natural speed a likely edge in a fairly paceless race; may prove tough to reel in if she can shake loose in the opening stages. 5:55 LAD 6th BIRDIE CALL (#5, 10-1) just ran better and did so in two straight. We love the improved front speed she showed last out. Added half furlong is fine and this filly has never seen claimers. 6:06 WO 10th QUEEN'S SPEED (#4, 6-1) annexed her last two starts in 2020 against OS/$40K conditioned rivals going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main turf, and could continue her winning ways in this N1X at the same distance.
