MARWARD (#7, 15-1) seems a bit of a plodding sort in a.m. but that style could serve him well in this field. 4:07 MTH 9th KITTEN’S COLLUSION (#6, 4-1) did try two turns on the turf in her debut and nothing is more difficult. She got good play in both turf starts this year even if the results were only so so. Connections wanted the grass last out but they were washed off. 8:07 LRC 7thA post-position switch from inside to outside gives BUSY PANTER (#7, 8-1) a shot to upset this $16k claiming starter from just off the pace. Third as the favorite after stumbling and dueling, she moves outside and can get cozy trip in the clear. Though she is a front-runner, she has won from behind.
