Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:40 MTH 1st CAMPTOWN RACES (#5, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck).  | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:50 GP 1st NOTARY SOJAC (#6, 9-2) is a logical choice after running second over some of these last time out. He also could be sitting on a peak race in his third start off the layoff. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:35 WO 2nd NO WHAMMIE (#2, 9-2) got away slowly before closing to prevail by a nose in a recent $25K NW3 dash on the inner turf. She figures to be a speed threat in this longer $25K sprint on the main course under Husbands, who was aboard for all three of her narrow triumphs. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:36 MTH 5th A stone closer, WICKED JANE (#8, 6-1) has been running against speed-favoring race flows going back to last year (note bold "S" symbols in DRF pp lines) but she may get an improved set up in this sprint, as there is at least some speed to her inside; eligible to move way up if she does in fact get an honest pace to chase. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:39 GP 5th KAEKO (#6, 9-2) ran well on the cutback to one turn last time and could be even sharper here, in her second straight sprint start. -Mary Rampellini 3:00 LRL 6th THUNDER BOSS (#3, 8-1) took advantage of a mediocre field, a reasonable pace, and an inside, speed-friendly track when wiring maidens 13 days ago, but perhaps that confidence boost is what she needed after knocking on the door for most of her career. Barn went 5 for the last 19 (26%, $9.22 ROI) with last-out maiden winners (3 for 7, 43%, $6.06 ROI returning in 13 days or less). Demand value as this is a strong pace and class test. Cruz departs for Alliallioxenfree. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:06 MTH 6th NOTABLE QUEEN (#2, 4-1) goes long and adds blinkers for the first time but those are two favorable angles for trainer Jose Camejo; she was no real threat in either of those two sprints but she showed some late interest each time after breaking slowly from the gate. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:09 WO 5th JIMMY'S AFFAIR (#6, 4-1) has been working right along for a trainer who can have one ready and should be ready to roll. The daughter of 13% 2yo debut sire Souper Speedy is a half-sister to the stakes-placed baby Took a Wrong Turn and second-out 2yo winner Lakeside Park. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:14 WO 7th CRAFTY OAKS (#2, 10-1) saved ground in fifth before closing strongly to catch the favored Pipit in her five-furlong debut score. She has ample speed to chase in this 5 1/2-furlong stakes and it will be interesting to see she can duplicate that stellar performance. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:35 GP 9th SIENA LADY (#8, 4-1) makes her dirt debut off some strong five-eighths works at Gulfstream. MILES OF SMILES might be tough to contain with a repeat of her effort two back, when she was just edged by a win machine who was set to run earlier on the card. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:06 MTH 10th VEGAS PLAYBOY (#3, 5-1) hasn't had a lot of help from the pacesetters in his dirt tries, as those were all speed-friendly race flows; but he has lots of room to improve today if he gets a decent pace to chase; he was well behind DAD'S ON A ROLL in his lone dirt route try but this figures to be an improved set up for him. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:37 CBY 2nd MIZZEN GEE MA (#1, 6-1) tried the turf in her debut but broke 9th of 10 and ended up beating zero home. Did something go awry in that race hence the layoff? That was a tough return distance two back while most recent was better. This is a good spot to return to the green all for a horse that is bred to like it (315 turf Tomlinson). -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:07 CBY 7th We know an improving horse when we see one and that is START SINGING (#7, 12-1). She faced open foes off the layoff and won as the favorite. She is bred to like the grass and we think that is her best surface. Her recent work was a bullet. Trainer stats are good across the board. A stalking trip from her outside post works for us and the price will be very good. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 10:07 CBY 9th CROCODILEHUNTER (#5, 9-2) ran huge to break his maiden two back and that was only his second start. He was a step slow on the break in his most recent and caught a good track but still managed to beat half the field home. He can pass runners and gets some pace to chase. He draws fine and figures a fair price. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
