1:42 TAM 4th FALL MOON (#3, 5-1) caught the eye with a deceptively good effort two back, when she endured a traffic-filled trip, and she returned to run a strong race in defeat in her latest, just failing to hold off the winner after making the lead in deep stretch; the resulting Beyer, and her best previous figures, very much make her a threat in this spot. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race
2:14 TAM 5th MAGICAL MOUSSE (#7, 12-1) was unable to stave off the closers in the Inaugural, including the winner, Cattin, who is his main rival today, but he held well until late despite a race-long duel; adds blinkers and Lasix for the rematch in the Pasco Stakes, and though he goes longer here this could be a softer pace scenario than he encountered in that last meeting. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race
