Wound up three wide and in between rivals at the back entering the turn, split foes five wide turning for home and finished evenly without threatening. 2:05 LRL 4th BUFF MY BOOTS (#8, 6-1) ran better than it looks in the Xtra Heat. It was her first start of the year and she was placed on a hard chase before grinding her way up for the place. 2:38 LRL 5th PERFECT DAY (#1, 9-2) beat four other next-out winners in career debut at Penn National, then shrugged off a wet track when earning 74 Beyer at Parx. 3:11 LRL 6th GOLDEN PLUME (#5, 8-1), a daughter of multiple Group 1-winning turf router Nebraska Tornado, ran just fine against much weaker in her dirt debut sprinting at Aqueduct. Pressed a four-ply pace from the rail over that sealed, sloppy track, got the better of her early rivals and tried hard for third in between horses.
