Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:10 GP 1st SKYHOOK (#6, 5-1) one of numerous options in this wide open, bottom level maiden claimer on turf. Held own in super key race in Parx finale which produced next out grads including 2nd and 3rd finishers in MSW races. Has some breeding for grass being kin to 3 inner course winners. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  1:53 TAM 4th INITFORTHELOVE (#2, 8-1) has strong back Beyers, and though he was off the board in his first start off thee layoff he did show some late interest there; may be able to spring the mild upset if he can take a short step forward in his second start off the layoff. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:08 GP 5th READYSEEKGO (#7, 15-1) ran big one over the synthetic on graduation day, returns to that surface off impressive drill 11 days ago. Figures to sit a nice stalking trip off likely pace of RED HURRICANE who turned in similarly game performance in only previous try on the Tapeta. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  2:22 LRL 5th DANNY'S WINKSTER (#8, 5-1) was bumped leaving the gate going two turns at Charles Town, cleared off to set a three-ply pace along the rail, came out a bit turning for home, then was too good for that group despite bobbing and weaving in the stretch. He was disqualified for supposedly causing a chain reaction to his inside in the opening furlong. He has tactical speed and can sit a nice trip close to the pace while outside and clear of traffic. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race  2:24 TAM 5th SHENOAH (#11, 20-1) is out of a dam who was at her best sprinting on the turf but she was also proven on the dirt, posting a 7-3-3-1 record on the main track; she's produced five winners, including multiple stakes-winning sprinter Yes I'm Lucky, who won his own career debut. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  2:32 OP 3rd DERBY CODE (#5, 8-1) ran a credible fourth off the bench last time - despite a troubled trip. He has reason to move forward in his second out since October. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  2:49 AQU 6th WHENLOVETAKESOVER (#4, 5-1) might have run better than it looks in that sloppy track debut, as she was a bit green early before trying a five-wide run around the turn, and she only weakened late after getting a look at the leader in the stretch; can put that experience to use and might not take too much money in this spot. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  3:08 GP 7th MAMBA WAMBA (#8, 6-1) broke a bit slow, finished best of all in the Abundantia and might benefit from today's outside post. Should come running in a field full of speed. Will offer some value going up against logical choice MISS J MCKAY who beat same kind with perfect run last time. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  3:21 AQU 7th IRISH HONOR (#8, 12-1) has been consistent right along and earned a new top figure when in for this tag and winning easily two back; has been effective around one turn and has tactical speed. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race  3:53 TUP 4th NORTHCUT (#2, 6-1) was finally coming around when 2nd in back to back starts but at odds of 11-1 and 18-1. So what in the wide, wide, worlds of sports happened last out? We thought that was a good spot even if a tough one. This guy spit the bit early and that was that. Was it the rarely seen third race bounce? The rider from 2 and 3 back returns so perhaps that is part of it. Inside draw might give Arboleda all the early options. -Scott Ehlers| Get PPs for this race  4:07 OP 6th XYLOPHONE (#9, 6-1) came closing last out and for this trip picks up a tad more real estate. Her last win came at this mile and a sixteenth distance. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race  4:15 GG 1st Unraced in three months, STOLEN VOTE (#3, 8-1) will race as a gelding for the first time in this $20,000 claimer for California-breds at 5 1-2 furlongs. A winner at the distance at Santa Rosa in August, Stolen Vote tends to run from off the pace and should have a favorable trip if Zhivago and Piper's Causeway take their expected positions near the front. Stolen Vote closed to finish second and fourth in his final two starts of 2022, races that hold appeal against this field. -Steve Andersen| Get PPs for this race  4:24 TUP 5th TRINNI VALANTINE (#2, 8-1) comes in fresh and with good speed in tow so the front end is more likely than not. We spy two listed works and both are longer at five furlongs so we expect this gelding to be fit. This guy draws inside but isn't stuck on the rail. Wire please. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  5:36 GP 12th SAND DANCER (#9, 8-1) not badly beaten by much better over the surface in latest, a key race that has produced two winners and two runner-ups in subsequent starts including Wicked Finn and Momza who finished necks apart, earned 88 Beyers in their next outings. Not facing that kind in the finale. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  5:48 TAM 11th IN THE KNOW (#7, 30-1) switches to turf and gets Lasix for the first time for Arnaud Delacour, who excels in all pertinent trainer categories, giving this filly immediate credibility; further, that debut run on the main track was deceptively decent, as she came running again in the lane after she backed off on the turn, and she galloped out with interest through the wire. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race  5:58 TUP 8th STITZY (#7, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race
