3:46 AQU 7TH GLOBAL STEVE (#1, 6-1) was impressive winning on debut going seven furlongs, despite apparent greenness in the early stages; he didn't appear to love the wet track he encountered when bumped up right into a stakes race for his second start, but made an early move into that race and kept going; has distance on the bottom of his pedigree and drew a perfect post for this. – Mike Beer

4:13 GP 9th The blinkers off experiment is quickly over for MACHO MUSIC (#1, 8-1) who puts the shades back on and likely to show off that abundant speed again with clean break from the rail. Beat pretty good runch when well clear early on three back at Keeneland. Looks like a value option to the heavy favorite GUNMETAL – Mike Welsch

4:15 AQU 8th SUNDAY GIRL (#2, 9-2) improved to an 88 Beyer while making it 4 for 4 over fast dirt in her 3yo finale; tactically inclined filly is also undefeated with Lasix, and she still has some upside, something her main rivals in this field lack. – Mike Beer

4:30 OP 7th DON'T JU FORGET (#9, 6-1) ran well on the cutback to one turn last out and could be even sharper here, in her second straight sprint start. – Mary Rampellini

5:13 GP 11th BURNHAM SQUARE (#7, 5-1) exits much improved effort, this distance, with addition of blinkers and continuing to improve with every start. Love the fact he's got a win over the course, could be sitting on an even bigger one in 3yo debut. – Mike Welsch

5:45 GP 12th JUSTINQUESO (#3, 8-1) has yet to cross the wire first but earned high marks at first asking and continuing to train like a filly with a real future holding own of late in the a.m. with Burnham Square, among major players in the Holy Bull. Expect even better today. – Mike Welsch

7:39 SA 10th HEART HEADED (#8, 5-1) has faced better than he meets in this N1X turf mile; he gets the call exiting a pair of graded stakes and running for the optional $50k claim tag. He won this condition against 3yos last fall, his numbers give him a shot to do the same against older. – Brad Free
