3:02 SAR 6th INCITATUS (#8, 8-1) had what looked like an ideal sprint tune-up for this at Keeneland. Broke from the fence, wasn’t hard ridden at all to keep up, stayed inside while getting good experience, couple cracks of the crop in upper stretch, good finish, galloped out right with the winner. Half-brother to Gentle Ruler, who likes 1 ¼ miles and beyond, and there’s little doubt he’ll be better in this route. – Marcus Hersh

3:06 GP 7th SIR SEAMUS (#9, 4-1) is going for the hat trick and he dominated his last two races, the latest coming against open $12,500 claimers. If R Mercedes Boy doesn’t handle turf, Sir Seamus should have an easy time of it up front. – Randy Goulding
3:14 WO 5th FOREST DRIFT (#3, 4-1) has been working up a storm for successful first-out trainer Tiller. Her sire has produced just 8% 2yo debut winners, but her dam was a rapid stakes-winning debut winner at 2. – Ron Gierkink
3:40 GP 8th CHILL HAZE (#3, 7-2) took them a long way in his first start for Barboza, who the past five years has a 38% strike rate and $2.42 ROI with claimed horses making their second start after being haltered. Chill Haze shouldn’t mind the cutback in distance and adding to his appeal is the horse that beat him came back with a decisive win in a $25K claimer for 3-year-olds. – Randy Goulding

5:21 GP 11th GIVEMETWENTY (#9, 7-2) will get tested for class, but he is trending in the right direction and being lightly raced, he could have more to offer. He also showed he can sit off the speed in his latest win, and the ability to stalk will come in handy in a race that figures to unfold at a brisk clip. – Randy Goulding
5:22 WO 9th SALTINI (#8, 6-1) won his local debut on the main turf while turning back in distance, and you can throw out his last subpar showing when he took the long way home on the Tapeta. His experience on the infield course at Turf Paradise might serve him well in this two-turn tilt on the inner turf. Ron Gierkink

5:56 WO 10th MARJORIE’S DREAM (#3, 4-1) attended the pace en route to finishing second in her much-improved second race a month ago. The daughter of leading Ontario sire Old Forester should take some beating on a repeat of that last one. – Ron Gierkink
7:10 DMR 5th MIND OUT (#4, 3-1) has the right style for this race, the most upside, and is working steadily for her first start since late May. Hoping Merneith takes some betting pushing up the price here into playable range. – Marcus Hersh
