12:29 GP 2nd LONDON WEREWOLF (#5, 7-2) was the runner-up at his level in his latest and was haltered by a trainer who has a 21% strike rate with claimed horses running back the first time; LONDON WEREWOLF should also get a nice trip stalking what figures to be an honest and contested pace. -Randy Goulding

2:02 GP 5th CARK (#3, 8-1) has yet to run a bad race as a 4-year-old and seems reasonably spotted in this $12.5K N2L after breaking her maiden for $16K at Colonial Aug. 2. It was a visually impressive performance as he was bottled up for most of the race and finished with a rush when he finally found clear sailing. -Randy Goulding

2:34 GP 6th JULIUS THE GREAT (#7, 4-1) get the nod because he is bred to win early. He is by Maclean’s Music who is roughly 18% when it comes to first-time starting juveniles. He is also the first foal out of a mare who finished a troubled third in her debut and then won her next two starts. Works suggest he can run a bit and the leading rider is attracted. -Randy Goulding

2:40 LRL 5th Been waiting for RUMSON RALLY (#4, 12-1) to get back to the turf following difficult trip back on October 12. In a slow-paced race where they ran 1-2-3 around the track, this gelding ended up mid-pack and on the rail turning for home, and never had clear sailing while in heavy traffic. Looked good winning maiden on grass during the spring of 2019 at Gulfstream when making a four-wide bid turning for home and overcoming a stretch bump to prevail. -Dan Illman

3:40 LRL 7th There’s a chance this pace will heat up and that could benefit both GODLOVESASINNER (#2, 8-1) and PADRINO’S HEART (#4, 3-1). The former ended up in and among horses for the first half-mile of most recent sprint outing and he never really had optimal clearance while lacking a strong finish. The winner of that race was scoring for the 21st time in his career and the third-finisher returned to win on dirt with an 85 Beyer. -Dan Illman

4:10 LRL 8th DREAM DOCTOR (#9, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman).

4:41 MTH 10th SPIN CYCLE (#2, 3-1) gets back on the main track and takes a big drop in class for this after facing better in all of his last five starts; he weakened after middle-moving in his latest and he may have needed his prior try but no excuses today as he makes his third start off the layoff. -Kenny Peck

4:49 WO 8th CLARKSON (#2, 6-1) is bred to run long, but the unraced daughter of Tiznow doesn’t appear to have much to beat in this 5 1/2-furlong maiden special on the Tapeta. -Randy Goulding

5:01 LAD 3rd HAMAZING SONG (#5, 15-1) is the value. He exits a key race where 2 of 2 returned to win with figs of 42 and 60. This gelding is just better since coming here so we declare him a horse for course. First time winners is no big deal on this circuit and this gelding is versatile. The biggest thing is that we don’t think he is done improving. -Scott Ehlers

5:07 MTH 11th MR. DISCRETIONARY (#8, 10-1) disappointed in his last two starts but wide trips may have cost him, because in both of those races it seemed that inside paths may have been best on those courses; could be primed for a big step forward, especially if Juarez gets him more involved in the opening stages, as some of his best races have come when he’s been close to the pace from the start. -Kenny Peck

5:59 MTH 13th TRACY ANN’S LEGACY (#8, 8-1) is at her best when on the lead but she can also rate off the pace and make one run, and that versatility should enable her to work out a trip regardless of how the pace scenario develops; very sharp in the win two back, her last try on the turf, even if it was against lesser. -Kenny Peck

6:22 LAD 6th BELMAR BEAUTY (#11, 15-1) will be a big price. Sire gets 8% debut turf winners. Her dam never tried the sod. Three sibs failed to win on the weeds but one did hit the board. This filly can stalk a fast pace all from the outside and with a weight break. -Scott Ehlers

6:49 LAD 7th CARAMEL LATTE (#8, 10-1) adds a full furlong and goes inside/outside posts. Jock switch to Lozada is key (24% with Foster). This filly has worked at least twice since her most recent. It all adds up. PUT A RING ON IT made a nice middle move in her most recent. Second time this dirt can’t hurt and she adds 1 1/2 furlongs. A better break would go a long way. -Scott Ehlers

10:00 DMR 11th ULTIMATE BANGO (#8, 3-1) was in a bit too deep in his last 3 starts, and his last 2 came after 7 months on the bench. There’s no layoff to worry about here, he gets some serious class relief and has worked well of late. – Michael Hammersly
