1:10 AQU 1st TABEGUACHE (#5, 4-1) didn't appear to care for the wet tracks he encountered two-and-three starts back; wound up dropping sharply in class for that last one off the claim, and he ran well in that spot while involved on the pace from the start; hard to fully trust him at this point, but he showed some life last time and goes off the claim for excellent connections while picking up Prat. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race
2:58 GP 5th CROSS HASTE (#7, 15-1) added two furlongs in his most recent but was still right there at the 1/8th pole. Now he cuts back to an elongated sprint and draws the attack post. We like that Jaramillo keeps the faith all for a new barn that is 1 for 4 off the claim. This guy loves this distance at 5-3-1-0. – Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
3:30 GP 6th MCAVOY (#7, 5-1) gets good race flow if all stay in. He tries this sod for the first time yet that was the case in his return try where he won at 10-1. 3:37 WO 6th BOUND TO BE TRUE (#4, 20-1) aired by 5 1/4 lengths over the future stakes winner Souper Supreme in her June 8 opener, after which she struggled in a pair of open stakes.
