With most other North American sports being shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, we hope the sport of horse racing can entertain you during these trying times. Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:28 TAM 1st COMMAND POINT (#7, 12-1) is kin to four starters, all of them multiple winners, including Joyful Night, who won four of seven starts, all of them dirt sprints; sports some swift breezes, especially her last couple. -Kenny Peck 12:45 GP 1st BYCHANCE (#7, 8-1) one of two in here for Mejia stable along with Fried Plantaine although latter should not be allowed to start having no published works on resume’ since last start on Jan. 5 at press time. Former takes significant class drop and looks loose as can be on the lead. Should not look back. -Mike Welsch 1:15 GP 2nd WICKED SOLUTION (#1, 3-1) missed a nose to 4-5 S. Joseph drop down Interest in her most recent start while forced to rally off a relatively slow pace. Should be along this time if able to repeat that effort. -Mike Welsch :: Bet the races online with DRF Bets. New members get $250 bonus 1:58 TAM 4th MIA ANGELINA (#6, 4-1) faded after making a mid-race move in her turf debut in her first start at Tampa last time but she figures to rebound on the move back to the main track; she was off the board in her last two starts at Gulfstream but she meets a softer group of locals and she could have a tactical edge in this paceless field, as she showed improved speed in her latest. -Kenny Peck 2:15 GP 4th PEACOCK KITTEN (#9, 3-1) a beaten favorite as even money choice last out while finishing just behind next out $20K winner Zippy in the process. Facing far softer, might not give it up this time around. -Mike Welsch 2:59 TAM 6th R LOVELY JULZ (#6, 4-1) was off the board in her first start off the Delgado claim, a relative rarity, but that was due in large part to a troubled start, as early speed is a big part of her game; with an alert break she may be able to shake loose this time around, and given that scenario she’ll be tough to reel in. -Kenny Peck 3:08 OP 4th STREET TO INDY (#6, 3-1) moves to a mile and an eighth and gets good pedigree support for the added distance. He also has class appeal as one who has been facing steeper. -Mary Rampellini :: Get the DRF GamePlan Playbook each day with a DRF+ Pro subscription. Purchase here. 3:39 OP 5th SILVER RIDE (#1, 6-1) might be tough to contain if he runs back to his opening day win in January. He broke from the rail - as he will here - and that race also drew a large field at this same six furlong distance. -Mary Rampellini 4:01 TAM 8th NOT TELLING (#8, 9-2) had little chance to last when caught up in a pace duel last time, as that sprint set up very well for the closers following that race-long battle up front; a slow start didn’t help her cause in her debut, at an abbreviate distance, but with a quick break today she could well be nicely spotted off expected pacesetter ESOR. -Kenny Peck 4:32 TAM 9th TOTALLY PERFECT (#6, 12-1) is the first starter from the dam but the sire, Biondetti, wins at a solid 15% with his debut runners, and her work tab is deceptively good; figures to be overlooked some in the wagering but she should be expected to come out running based on those breezes. -Kenny Peck 4:53 GP 9th RELENTLESS DANCER (#4, 6-1) dropping out of a pair of graded stakes and Ky. Derby preps. Was beaten just 2 1/4 lengths for second money by top Derby prospect Sole Volante at Tampa, may just be a question of his ability to stay the route. -Mike Welsch 5:14 OP 8th READY TO RUNAWAY (#8, 6-1) is a multiple stakes winner against Minnesota-breds who has proven a strong fit against open foes, between starts at Keeneland and Oaklawn. -Mary Rampellini :: To stay up to date, follow DRF on: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter 5:45 OP 9th ECHO TOWN (#3, 9-2) took a mild step back second time out after a brilliant career debut before bouncing back to form in his most recent race. Work pattern since says he’s going just as well, and while I can’t see him as high as the listed odds, presence of Eight Rings could help with the price. Tactical versatility a plus. – Marcus Hersh 6:16 OP 10th MIA MISCHIEF (#8, 9-2) is a little bit of a price because Bellafina is entered. The latter is stuck with a tough draw and never has run her best outside SoCal. Mia looked as good as ever in an easy comeback score last out and is well drawn for a favorable trip. – Marcus Hersh 6:29 GP 12th AWESOME ENOUGH (#3, 15-1) a new face to a pretty weak looking category with plenty of works on his resume’ prepping for bow. Might be good enough to handle this group at first asking. -Mike Welsch 6:47 OP 11th COPPER KING (#1, 7-2) has an age edge on probable favorite UNRIGHTEOUS (#4, 5-2) and could sit a little closer to the pace than he found himself in his most recent start. On a pedigree point, Copper King is a half-brother to Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird. -Mary Rampellini
