Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:25 LRL 1st QUICK RETURN (#1, 6-1) might have been in tough when finishing last against quarter "beatens" at Parx. Sat a loose pocket, was urged along on the turn, cut the corner, then never factored. Eight-time winner exceeded this Beyer par two back for barn that sent out Parx shipper Bet the Line to win here at 6-1 last Saturday. -Dan Illman 1:00 KEE 1st BAINBRIDGE DANCER (#6, 20-1) debuted Nov. 18, 2022 -- and only now runs back. That's a ... long layoff. So long, for all intents and purposes she's a first-time starter -- though we can see she did some running facing MSW foes in that long-ago first start. Some hints in the work pattern, and I wonder if connections are taking a bit of an edge returning for this $20K tag. -Marcus Hersh 1:10 GP 1st AWESOME WIND (#6, 8-1) got hung wide, rushed clear, got rank on the lead, paid price late stages of two turn and Tapeta bow. Gets one more chance if able to relax early on dropping in with bottom level types in opener. -Mike Welsch 1:25 TAM 3rd MILLIONDOLARMONKEY (#4, 9-2) rallied well for the place in that last one, especially considering the fact that she was against the race flow, and mild early fractions; should get a better set up here with a couple of speeds drawn to her outside. -Kenny Peck  1:29 LRL 3rd WALK AWAY JOE (#6, 8-1) looked good overcoming wide trip to down $8,000 sellers last month. Broke from the far outside with a short run to the first turn, stalked three wide entering the backstretch, was hung out four wide/five path after the first half-mile, continued three deep on the second bend, then grinded it out in the lane. This is a tougher spot, and he'll need some pace to attack, but he's in form. -Dan Illman  2:12 GP 3rd FAR FROM A STAR (#4, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch). 2:14 OP 3rd SMOKIN' HOT (#6, 4-1) cuts back to one turn and his last win came going route to sprint. -Mary Rampellini  2:36 KEE 4th TEEN IDOL (#6, 8-1) did fade through the final furlong of his career debut, but that mainly just makes the race look worse than it was. After taking some betting, he broke flat-footed and quickly was shuffled back to last, winding up along the fence, blocked around the far turn and into the homestretch. That was back on Feb. 24 and he's since been kept to a flawless work pattern. Expecting considerably better. -Marcus Hersh  3:02 TAM 6th HENRY'S WORLD (#2, 8-1) has high speed and he's an upgrade candidate off his latest, his first start in a couple of months,; the drop in class and price adds to the appeal. -Kenny Peck  3:40 KEE 6th JOKE SISI (#3, 8-1) stayed one mile winning a Chilean G1, and she surely got something out of contesting a fast mile pace March 8 at Oaklawn in her first start back from a break. Didn't fade badly there, and is she shakes loose on the lead in a race that ends at the sixteenth pole, maybe she can last at a price. -Marcus Hersh  4:02 AQU 6th LAFITTE'S FLEET (#6, 9-2) was in for half this price when settling for second over a wet track in February, though he ran well that day while trying to close into a tough setup; was a bit disappointing at this level two back, though he spent a lot of time down inside that day, and the rail was not the place to be; ran well again last time while unable to get to an odds-on favorite on the lead; can handle the class rise off the claim for Dutrow. -Mike Beer  4:07 TAM 8th RIVER RIDGE (#8, 6-1) is the first starter out of the dam, who was 2nd in her own debut before scoring in her next (and final) try; this colt sports some good-looking breezes for this debut, works that suggest he has some ability. -Kenny Peck 4:32 AQU 7th PALACE BOSS (#3, 10-1) is going to have to improve in order to contend here but he might be quite a bit better than he looks on paper; was just taking a shot at a big price in the debut and didn't run poorly in that race without a great trip; pulled a wide trip over a track that was favoring inside runners last time; bred to handle this added distance and might be able to improve quickly at a price. -Mike Beer  4:35 LRL 9th Perhaps SWIFTSURE (#9, 5-1) took advantage of speed-friendly, sloppy track when wiring allowance foes at Aqueduct last month. Set a reasonable three-ply pace while nearest the rail, then sprinted home in a race where they ran 1-2 around. Bested two next-out winners as the third-finisher then took a high-level allowance with a 94 Beyer. He's quick, but think he can sit off the early leader while outside and in the clear. Barn went 3 for the last 15 (20%, $2.49 ROI) with last-out winners returning on dirt. -Dan Illman 4:50 GP 8th QUIMICHIS (#7, 6-1) broke poorly, finished well, galloped out with nice energy in a race that produced next out SW Twirling Queen and SP Pretty Liam. Catches what figures to be a very honest pace scenario today. -Mike Welsch  5:16 KEE 9th SURGE CAPACITY (#7, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh).  6:17 GG 5th MOGOLLON RIM (#1, 9-2) might be sitting on a top try. After some not-so-hot form in SoCal he came here March 24 and ran on well for 2nd on synthetic at this level. That may be a sign he's doing well with the return to this place and while he's 0 for 8 on turf he has handled the footing. -Michael Hammersly
