1:40 LRL 3rd LOOKIN DYNAMIC (#9, 10-1) might be slowly getting back to her best form as she makes her third start off the break for Michael Trombetta. She had no pace to attack when they ran 1-2 around the track at Saratoga on July 30, then made up some late ground on “good” going in most recent turf appearance with a solid gallop-out. She’ll need some pace to attack, but the lightly-raced 3-year-old filly has upside potential. -Dan Illman
1:44 GP 4th MAKEME DREAM (#6, 20-1) is bred to love the grass and has tried nothing but the green in her career. She is very consistent as she has gotten a 77 Beyer in three of her last four starts. This barn is 20% second off a medium layoff. This filly has worked twice since her return try and has every right to improve in this spot. A small knock in that there isn’t much pace in this race. -Scott Ehlers

2:10 LRL 4th GO AMANDA (#6, 9-2) got a nice setup last time as she attached herself off the hip of odds-on pacesetter Tenderness, went after that one in earnest on the turn and wore her down during a prolonged stretch drive. Perhaps she simply appreciated the muddy track, but she’s won on fast going in the past and goes out for a barn that’s having a sensational summer meeting. Must prove that she can handle this hike in class. -Dan Illman
2:10 MTH 4th WILDCATTIN (#7, 15-1) had lots of trouble in his last try on the turf, two back, and he in fact lost any chance after breaking very slowly and then running into traffic and steadying some; he showed late interest once clear and he is a candidate to take a big step forward today with a clean trip. -Kenny Peck
3:50 GP 8th SCRAPS (#10, 10-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers).
4:01 WO 7th TIO MAGICO (#3, 6-1) worked nicely from the gate Aug. 23. The son of the exceptional 15% 2yo debut sire Uncle Mo is out of a G3 stakes winner who’s been a poor producer. -Ron Gierkink

4:10 LRL 8th SPLIT THE WICKETS (#6, 12-1) finished ahead of two next-out winners when chasing red-hot Factor This (earned fourth consecutive stakes win and was entered at Churchill Downs on Saturday afternoon) over soft going at Ellis Park. Didn’t break very well and was forced to swing five wide late on the final turn. Helped by the good pace up front, he rallied nicely for a minor award. He’ll need them to go quick to properly setup his late kick, but think he’s rounding into career form. -Dan Illman
4:10 MTH 8th STELLAR GRACE (#12, 12-1) didn’t make up much ground in the speedy Colleen Stakes at five furlongs but this filly, by Verrazano, should appreciate the extra ground she gets in this Sorority Stakes; plenty of speed to her inside to set her up for a late run as she makes her 2nd start off the layoff for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, who wins at 20% with such runners. -Kenny Peck
4:59 GP 10th POWER (#9, 5-1) ran well on this sod only four back. Recent tries are solid but they came on the dirt and this gelding is bred for the turf (354 turf Tomlinson). Here comes a stalking trip off a legit pace. -Scott Ehlers
5:05 WO 9th MAKE IT RAIN (#1, 20-1) missed the break and was sandwiched between rivals early in the stretch before tiring in a $15K turf sprint second-time out. He’s bred to run on, and could be a factor at a square price in this $10K route on the main turf. -Ron Gierkink
5:12 MTH 10th PLAN OF ATTACK (#7, 10-1) seemed to have some traffic trouble in that loss two back on the turf, and his latest, on the main track, is easy to look past; should be well spotted behind the speeds and he can pull off the upset given a clean trip and a contested pace up front. -Kenny Peck
