Michael Burns First post for Woodbine racing is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET on Friday.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

12:57 PIM 2nd TALES TO TELL (#2, 9-2) is a half-sister to a turf winner out of debut winner Yaraka (turf sprint in England), herself a half to multiple British Group 3-winning turf sprinter Enticing (won debut) and British stakes-winning synthetic miler Sentrail (won debut). The second dam is European juvenile filly champ Superstar Leo. Breezed heads-up on 8/25 with barn's juvenile Fulmineo (won maiden special on turf at Colonial on 9/2 with 70 Beyer). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:50 GP 3rd WIN NAY (#1, 5-1) showed a hint of speed in her sprint debut on dirt here July 1 but couldn't keep up. She's been freshened since and it's very nice to see no drop for her return. Nicks has super numbers 2nd timeout and off this kind of freshening. All 3 sibs to race are winners including full-bros Lure Him In (37-6-8-7, $379K, 1 SW, 4 SPs including 1 G3) and Big Daddy Dave (20-5-6-3, $263K, 2 SPs). -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:04 PIM 6th TIDEWATER (#6, 6-1) looked good returning from a 259-day layoff as a new gelding with Lasix and blinkers on. Broke a bit slow from the far outside post, then advanced three wide under a hold on the turn. Eased out into the stretch, then willingly ran by the leaders in the final three-sixteenths. He might need a bit of pace help as he cuts back to this very sharp five-eighths distance in first start against winners, but retains a good amount of upside potential. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:08 WO 5th HUNGRY WOLF (#1, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:10 WO 7th PEDIGEEK (#2, 8-1) graduated two back in a maiden special here on the inner course before tanking in an allowance at Ellis Park. The daughter of the late/great Arrogate is tagged in this NW2 OS/$40K inner turf tilt and should be closing effectively with Wilson riding for Casse, a live combo. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:20 GP 8th MONEY MAP (#5, 4-1) looked like a new horse with blinkers here Aug. 6, romping in a race like this at 16-1. If the blinkers have turned the light on for him he figures tough again. He's worked well since. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:41 WO 8th MIDWAY MISCHIEF (#1, 6-1) went four-wide on the first turn and three-wide on the far bend before finishing four lengths in arrears against tougher July 30. He's worked twice since and seems made-to-order for this $25K NW2 Tapeta route with Fukumoto aboard for the first time. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:03 RP 3rd ROCKET SOCKS (#10, 5-1) draws a post that might give Wiseman options. Also like that this one has moved forward from his first start to his second. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:31 RP 4th CADI DEVILLE (#8, 12-1) returns to the mile distance of her last win, but is trying something new with the move to turf. She gets pedigree support for the surface switch. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:39 DMR 8th Last-out maiden winner DIAMONDS DANZING (#6, 4-1) looks like the speed of the field, and though six and one-half furlong might be a reach, she could be gone. She won a maiden turf sprint last out, but ran faster (80 Beyer) two starts back on dirt. This race is dirt. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
